TV coverage of Chelsea away

Post by Whitgord » Thu Jan 14, 2021 12:10 pm

Just wondering if anyone knows when we will find out if and how we can watch this game on Sat 30th Jan. I suspect it will be on Amazon.

Currently not scheduled to be televised. I’m in a meeting this evening when I should find out more about future broadcasting arrangements.

So CT are you saying that blanket live coverage of PL games is under question during the lockdown?

I'm not. The current arrangement to cover all games comes to an end in two weeks time after which it would then revert to the agreed broadcasting arrangements unless another agreement is in place. I am expecting that to be the case but I'll know more tonight once I've been in the meeting. It's one of the main items on the agenda.

There's only those teams that matter apparently :o :o

The sooner they all bugger off and leave the proper clubs to get on with it the better.

Fulham v Burnley is on BTSports 2 Extra.I’m with virgin and the forums say you have to access this extra channel by going on to bt sport 2 then press the red button.Didn’t realise I had these extra channels so fingers crossed it works.

The BT-TV box has these as actual channels 🙂

Back to the thread title.

Learned at the meeting tonight that the next batch of TV games will be announced in the next few days so I assume next week.

We were told not to expect a return of PPV. The PL director there said they’d been given that message from the fans loud and clear.

The cup tie is definitely on BT Sport Extra 2 as there is a Bundesliga game on BT Sport 2. The BT sport app contains all the “extra” channels even if smart tv doesn’t.
