Jay is the most decent, genuine and down to earth lad you could come across. You would never believe he's a Premier League footballer when you get into conversation with him, he's so humble.
I know a lot of footballers do good things but the work he does with the hospice and now this. I was blown away last night when I read his tweet.

Whenever he's left Burnley, Southampton or West Brom, he's always gone with the goodwill of the fans there. Pretty unusual in the modern game.

Jay is just a smashing lad ... I have a nephew who had a small restaurant in in Southampton (sadly the current climate has put him out of business) and Jay and his partner ate in there a few times...
Jason is very complimentary about Jay and his rapport with the fans down there ... so its no wonder he is getting a great reception whenever he returns to his other clubs
