WBA lead Wolves 1-0 with a dodgy pen.

I say dodgy cos it was outside the box, questionable contact, and after the ball had gone. VAR not wanting to be seen to overrule refs.

Fancy Fulham will get at least a draw later vs Chelsea.

Looked outside the box to me....very dodgy. VAR strikes again....not clear and obvious. Joke because if the ref gives a free kick rather than a pen they have to have a free kick...really is embarrassing every week.

We just want accurate decisions ffs...not clear and obvious bs...this has to change

It was a rubbish decision by Oliver...made worse by VAR just accepting Oliver's decision and not looking properly

If this carries on Wolves could be in real danger.

I’m not watching, but I’ve said this about Wolves for weeks. I reckon they’ll sack their manager if results don’t pick up

Yeah, I thought the check was very quick. In the interest of balance, Walton on BT saying it was the right decision. Ask the Ref is a good feature on BT even though it can be infuriating.

I think you could be right about the manager. According to the BBC the Wolves fans are getting a Bit brassed off with him.

Tends to be that talking points about Oliver tend to be because he’s given a decision rather than opted not to.

That's a good win for WBA. Bad for us.

Fair play to Sam he doesn't waste time in sorting out transfers and setting his team's up and gets results

If they hang on, we'd still be five clear of them, having played two less.

I'm more concerned about Fulham later, wouldn't be surprised if they got a result against Chelsea

Let’s not worry about West Brom. Let’s look at catching Wolves.

If he does get results it's going have to be by scoring goals as they look completely hopeless at the back.

WBA have no chance of stopping up if they have to defend.

I'm surprised that no one has said we should have signed Robert Snodgrass.

But with still half a season to play. Fulham now finding a way of being hard to beat, BFS maybe working some magic at The Hawthorns, Newcastle and maybe Wolves being sucked into the relegation situation with Brighton scraping occasional results....but Burnley struggling to find the back of the net. I'm feeling we could be sleepwalking into relegation.

The one positive from the West Brom game is that Big Sam has no longer the ability to make his teams hard to score against. They'll continue to ship goals.

And now two straight defeats with a 'strong' team and bench with hardly a shot on goal in 180 mins of football, the slight matter of a trip to Anfield next and then a major game against relegation rivals Fulham where, given our form, the best we can hope for is the dullest of dull 0-0 draws.
