Was worried about him first half, was losing his cool. Created our best chances. Wood was AWOL again tonight though.

Barnes man marked Thiago all game and Liverpool just collapsed as a result.
That was a truly tactical masterclass from Dyche.
Feel genuinely proud to be a Burnley fan. That might be my favourite Burnley result in the premier league

I think a lot our fans donβt understand yet. SD sticks with them because they just carry on doing what they do and it will be enough, might be close but over the season, itβs enough and sometimes when it clicks, more than enough. Itβs why no one away from fans expect us to go down... weβre too comfortable at this level for that. We know how it works.

The thing with Ashley Barnes is that he really does have the balls for it. makes up for the little things he lacks brilliantly.

Hope Jay plays Sunday and has a good game. Wood isnβt playing his best at the moment and I think Jay and Ash is the way to go up top in the league at the moment.

Christ! we've won at Anfield, the 1st team to do that in nearly 4 years, and yet people still find something to moan about.
Just enjoy the moment FGS, Barnes was back to his niggling best tonight, and he really got under their skins, plus keeping his cool when his big moment arrived, give the lad credit tonight, he's had plenty of justified criticism this season, but this goal could be a real turning point for him, he tends to score in batches, so hopefully tonight will be the start of a scoring spree for him.
He cost less than a million quid, and he's been a fabulous servant to BFC for over 7 seasons now, I'd say that's money well spent.

I thought Jay Rod should play tonight, our scoring record and recent performances did suggest a change might be an idea, but I'd never get angry about it if SD sees it differently, he's the manager after all and all the players deserve our 100 per cent support. As said up the thread, Dyche (and the team) believes in percentages and they've once again been justified. Barnes put a serious shift in tonight and I swear he doesn't feel pressure, not many players have as good a record with penalties as he does. Brilliant night!
I reckon Vydra and Jay Rod will get their chance at Fulham on Sunday. Wood and Barnes must be knackered.
