Could be a good week

If Newcastle lose tonight we will go above them in the table, with the win at Anfield and hopefully a win in the cup it could well be a great week! UTC

If it happens as you say it won't just be a great week ... it would be an extremely tremendously fantastically brilliantly GREAT week 😁

Hmm! on one hand we don't want Villa getting a boost prior to Wednesday's game, on the other hand it's probably best if Newcastle don't start picking up points, so on balance hoping for a narrow Villa win, Newcastle are certainly in danger of being dragged into the relegation battle, and you do wonder how long Steve Bruce will be given to turn their fortunes around.

All we can do is take care of our own business, and that's what we're doing, if we continue doing that it won't matter what anyone else does.

I think the thread title needs amending to it could be a very good week, it couldn't have gone any better if we had written it ourselves.

A famous victory at Anfield, ending Liverpool's unbeaten streak.

Then Newcastle getting drubbed again, and ensuring we moved above them.

And finally a comprehensive 3-0 away victory in what many thought would be a tricky tie, and Jay bagging 2.

And to round it off nicely. Crawley win at Bournemouth. Sheff Utd, Newcastle, West Brom lose. Fulham goalless draw with Brighton and comfortable 2-0 win against Villa.
