Re: Home Shirt
If they removed the gambling sponsor, I’d pay £20 on top of the asking price, nevermind half price with sponsor.

Hello tim_noone, speaking for myself, it’s pretty simple. I’ve nothing against betting as a pass time, we all enjoy the occasional flutter. But these betting companies are parasites. If you watch football you are submerged in a sea of in your face promotion, and betting is a problem for a lot of people. Billions of pounds are creamed off ordinary folk, imagine the misery that causes.tim_noone wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 1:11 amWhy is it your so against Betting companies? Why would anyone with a conscience want to promote a betting company by being used as a billboard?

Tbf he’s right in what he’s saying, it probably would look better without a sponsor

Re: Home Shirt
I'd certainly buy at least one shirt a year if there were no sponsors name. Haven't bought one for some time for this reason although I do buy other leisure wear that does not have the logo. My reason is not political I just think that they look awful. If someone more technically gifted than me could create a image of the current three shirts without the logo it would be interesting to see what they look like. I did like the spoof that some clever poster put on the board some months ago though of the home shirt with a 'Bene n' Hot' logo! I'd definitely be in for one of those! UTC EAC

Don't do it Timothy!
Re: Home Shirt
Agree and I can't imagine just how much money some people must be losing for a company to be able to afford to pay us £7.5mil per year just to put a logo on our shirts and we're not the only club that they sponsor!chekhov wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 5:40 amHello tim_noone, speaking for myself, it’s pretty simple. Re: Home Shirt
The sponsor is also plastered over training gear and leisure wear which is a step too far.

Re: Home Shirt
Is the click and collect service currently suspended? Wanted to get a kids shirt for my sons birthday but don’t want to pay £5 for delivery. It’s not currently giving click and collect option.
