tested positive for Covid. I realise we cant talk about things like this but with what he as done this year for the NHS i would like to wish him all the best and a speedy recovery .

Very sad indeed and I hope he gets through this but what on earth were his family thinking taking him to Barbados in December??

Just read the reason he wasn't vaccinated was because he had pneumonia then got the covid after.Hope he pulls through.What an extraordinary life he has led and give a little bit of joy and hope with what he achieved last year

This looks grim as evidently he’s had pneumonia “ for weeks” Though can’t deny the hero a holiday in Barbados though seems a little bizzare . Incredible if he beats this

Hope he recovers because he’s been an absolute inspiration and is very much a worthy recipient of his recent knighthood, but you have to say the odds probably aren’t stacked in his favour, unfortunately.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for Tom what an inspiration he has been, can’t really blame him for going to Barbados, at 100 yrs old how many more opportunities will he get to go there?
