Pieters has proved to be a shrewd signing, happy to play where ever he is asked, strong, athletic and passionate and in normal times would be a great LB, however we are truly spoilt with a fully fit Taylor.
Imagine him and Trippier in a team, worth an extra 10 points a season.
We clearly overrate Charlie Taylor

Re: We clearly overrate Charlie Taylor
People taking one article a bit too much to heart. We aren't a fashionable club with a big fan base. Our players and team achievements are always overlooked.
It means nothing what one writer says, and as previously mentioned it is very likely because he just forgot about him given his injuries and Pieters being in our team.
Hopefully ALK can raise our profile a bit more and we can get more people appreciating what we do, as for now it's really not a bad thing for us Taylor isn't getting praised so much as it's more likely he'll stay with us.
And as for Pieters, he's been an equally astute signing. If we had an Erik Pieters as backup for every position we'd be doing even better. Well we do, but not multiple Pieters at once if you see what I mean!

Re: We clearly overrate Charlie Taylor
TAA gave the ball away with a sloppy pass, and then 2secs later was skinned by Sterling, for City's first goal, yet pundits will still ooze about him.
Players for Burnley will always be underrated, players for the top 6 will always be overrated. Its why I have sympathy for Tarks, if you have ambitions, and there's nothing wrong with that, you are almost forced to leave to gain recognition.
The Pickford/ Pope debate is another typical example.
Charlie Taylor is a class act, we know it, I hope that one day he doesn't feel the need to leave in order to get that recognition he deserves from the wider game.
