Predictions vs Brighton

This is one I'm struggling to call, my heart says 2-0 Burnley, my head says 1-1, I 've gone with my heart on Super 6, so I hope I'm right for the teams sake and my own. It's vital we get something tomorrow, otherwise it'll be 3 losses on the bounce, but we'll need to offer more of a goal threat then we've managed in the last 2 games, however it's worth bearing in mind who we've played in those matches, tomorrow offers us a genuine chance to put points on the board against someone more on our level, and that's usually the games where we deliver the goods.

A win will certainly ease any concerns I have but as
Aclaret says we'll need to be up for this one and get at them.
Could be a good game as Brighton are playing well.

This will be tough. BHA are hard to beat, but also have some quality. We will have a weakened team and are struggling to score. They have a good defence.

I think we will be very cautious to avoid losing. 0-0 looks a likely score and I will take that. However, I think it will be 1-0 to someone.

Atm I am thinking that we don't need the cup game midweek.

Brighton looked very good at Liverpool and deserved the win. Away record has been good. Don’t think we will have our strongest team out so 1-3 I’m afraid.

They deservedly beat us last season at home and are playing quite well at times, like v Liverpool. However, when we are on form we make it difficult for the best of teams, and I'm confident we'll frustrate an annoy them to a 2-0 victory

I wouldn't pay too much attention to last season's game, we were on the beach that day, and even then we could have snatched a draw if Jay's effort hadn't been disallowed by VAR.

We should be up for it tomorrow, as I'm sure Sean and the lads will know how important a result is.

The good news is that they will have got home in the early hours of Thurs so unlikely to have trained that day

They will have also set off yesterday lunch (unless by plane)

Little time for them to work on their own tactics never mind worrying about what different tactics we might employ

I think it all depends who starts up front. Wood injured and JayRod off form could give us Vyds and Barny. I'd like to see that. We'd still have a battering ram (Barny) but also some skill, and it could just pay off. Midfield and in particular Westwood, needs to improve though.

Brighton have four clean sheets on the bounce, so we will need a bit of guile to beat them.

Close game but I'll go 2-1
