Daniel Kinahan
There's a hard hitting Panorama program about him and his criminal underworld involvement and boxing links.
Never really heard oh him before, apart from a few month ago when Tyson Fury distanced himself from him negotiating his fights.
Doesn't sound like a friendly man if you cross him.
Looks like the journalists investigating him have had death threats.

Re: Daniel Kinahan
I’ve known of him for many years through MTK Global, he’s a good friend of Billy Joe Saunders and is certainly a dangerous bloke. If memory serves me right, when Jamie Moore was caught in the crossfire outside the MTK gym in Marbella and shot in the leg, the bullet was meant for him, or his ex mate turned rival
Think he’s in Dubai now

Yeah i saw it the other night. Shows you should never judge a book by its cover. For an alleged top gangland figure that Kinahan has the look of a fairly quiet, mild mannered bloke.

Yeah, the program said in Dubai, with warrants out for his arrest if he goes back to Ireland.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 8:57 amI’ve known of him for many years through MTK Global, he’s a good friend of Billy Joe Saunders and is certainly a dangerous bloke. Re: Daniel Kinahan
Be careful what you post about him, CT will end up with a death threat.

I'd never heard of him, especially as I'm not really into boxing, but I just googled him and he's an interesting read.

Living in Dublin, I’ve heard too much of him for the last few years. The Kinahan Hutch gang battle has seen many many deaths and people getting caught in the crossfire.

Spot on DC . There are subjects you should never comment about on a public forum and very very good reason .
As Irish and live in Ireland i will give this fact .
Not going to look it up but 4 paul bearers who carried a coffin of a certain person all four were murdered .
Re: Daniel Kinahan
It surely won’t be too long before he’s banged up.
Boxing appears to need to start putting some regulations in place, with regard to who can and can’t be involved with promotion and management.
It’s a sport that you are always going to get ‘rogues’ involved with, it’s the nature of the business, but that shouldn’t mean that those running things can be too.
I thought, considering the apparent danger from those in and around Kinahan, Barry McGuigan was brave in coming forward and entirely right in what he was saying.

Re: Daniel Kinahan
Kinahan is trying to put McGuigan out of buisness by letting his fighters work for no fees. Barry showed some guts being involved in the programme

Re: Daniel Kinahan
My view on watching it was although there was a lot of allegations there was actually no concrete proof or evidence he had done anything wrong. The police even said there wasn’t enough evidence to charge him with anything. And he hasn’t been charged too this day

An article suggesting one of our players (as well as players from other clubs) got scammed for a £250k watch and Kinahan got their money back for them.
