I saw it as a 2 horse race, 1 who is having a real purple patch ( Lowton ) one who was absolutely fantastic, involved in all our good forward play, and fully deserved a goal, the winner wouldn't have been undeserved.

I went for the latter.

Mrs Mee

Although to be fair he was better than McNeil, and he got a vote.
Welcome to UTC Mrs McNeil

I haven’t even looked yet, but I know who you went for Macca.

I’m going for the same.

Those who understand football will make it a 2 horse race with the winner fully deserved.
You'll always get a few clowns though picking random players.

Agree - coin toss between Lowton and Vydra. I went Lowton - it was surprising how good he was throughout.

Lowton has had a very good season so far, a cool cucumber with good temperament and attitude.

I think two horse race is slightly unfair on JBG who looked to be getting back to his best and scored with a composed finish. That being said I went with Lowton as I thought he was excellent throughout and is our most inform player at the moment.

In regards to Vydra he has to keep starting and is our best forward by a mile at the minute and that takedown in the first half was sublime. If he was a little more clinical he would be incredible.

Really hope Dyche told Vydra how well he played today, because Vydra still looked like a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders at the end. Still desperately in need of a goal. Once he gets one and he gets more confident, we could really have a player.

I'm not championing him for man of the match or owt, I just haven't seen him mentioned any where really.......... I though Pieters had a good game today. Bit of Roberto Carlos going on at times. :)

I’m surprised that Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson isn’t a lot closer to the top two.

Lowton for me bar the mishap which led to the JBG booking thought he was superb both defending and going forward.
