Dyche sending a message?
Is Dyche sending a message to the new owners that the squad just isn’t good enough with tonight’s starting eleven?

Re: Dyche sending a message?
No, he’s just saving his players to stay up.
As he will every season.
Tonight was the last time I’ll ever believe Dyche gives a toss about any competition that isn’t the league. More fool me for believing it for a second after the Fulham game.

What are the owners going to do about it?
They've not got a pot to p1ss in. First priority is servicing the giant debt and interest.

Re: Dyche sending a message?
What do you expect him to do? Imagine if tarks or mee injured in this game and we revert back to start of season form.
Re: Dyche sending a message?
I’m fed up with his messages! Moans about not signing players and then can’t be bothered strengthening. Poor tactician but good man manager. Roll on Palace.

Re: Dyche sending a message?
Not really. No reason why one of Mee and Tarks cant play. At 1-0 down rather than go for it he takes two strikers off,for two strikers (1 being a rookie) and a winger for a right back. Thats all down to him. Only messages he has sent that he does not give a **** about the cups. He sends that message year after year.

Re: Dyche sending a message?
Doesn't matter if he is or isn't, Pace and Co won't be happy with that level of ability in the squad, if they didn't know before they now do that major investment is a must

Dyche at times infuriates me. Why on earth does he not change things earlier. The pieters debacle is embarrassing to say the least and that's Dyche to blame and his staff

Like the " Putting out a weakened team in Cup competitions to lose to Lower League teams so the Board will back me " tactic has worked for SD before

Your all possibly right, that team was embarrassment to the competition. Late-ish in the tournament and making that many changes is pathetic.

If he's so **** hot, he can go find himself another job.
I've had enough of him, his ego... quite frankly, if he weren't our manager I'd probably despise him.

Dyche has just got what we wanted since the 3rd round...an exit from the cup competition he treats with utter disdain

Re: Dyche sending a message?
Our of interest can a club pull out of these competitions before they start?
If we are that concerned about resting players then why bother entering in the first place?

Re: Dyche sending a message?
Er, no. Surely it can’t be the same message season after season?
Wouldn’t it be easier to use actual words to convey this “message”?
The fact is, the cups aren’t important to him right now for some reason....and for that reason I’m oot (of watching cup games until he and the players can start to give a stuff about them).

Another cup fiasco in our fine tradition loosing to lower league sides it is nothing to do with Sean we have managed gutless cup defeats with a series of managers

Re: Dyche sending a message?
That was predictable. If we do go down, that’s the team you will be watching week in, week out...minus McNeill who will have been sold, along with Tarkowski, Pope and Mee.
Re: Dyche sending a message?
Only message he is sending to potential employers is " don't touch me with a barge pole ".

Re: Dyche sending a message?
The only message that Dyche sent tonight was that he didn’t give a **** about making it through to the QF of the FA Cup. And to be honest, considering our relatively comfortable league position it’s left me feeling really cheesed off. Why didn’t we just throw the third round?

We made changes as we always do in the cups. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t give a **** does it?
The same posters whinging, wanted him to play a weakened side vs Man City last week, how stupid is that?

Re: Dyche sending a message?
I can accept the half assed approach in the early rounds of the two cup competitions but when we end up in the 5th round at home to a team in a division below us, whilst looking comfortable for staying up in the league, then to not play a better team than that and have the intensity he insists on in the league is pathetic

Re: Dyche sending a message?
I think it was pretty clear he really didn’t care about winning tonight. Not just by the starting lineup, but by the substitutions, which I hoped would be tactical, but were really made to protect the players coming off.
Oh, and I didn’t want us to play a weakened side against Man City.

Why do people spout such ********. You have no idea how much they have to spend and constant sniping and drivel like comments like this are becoming very tedious and boring.

With Palace, West Brom and Brighton next up and the amount of games we’ve had recently, changes were needed.Rileybobs wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 7:35 pmI think it was pretty clear he really didn’t care about winning tonight. Dyche has bo ambition.
The only way he will get a top job is to win a cup. Some silverware.
He has kept us up plenty of times and nobody has cone anywhere near for him.

Re: Dyche sending a message?
I don’t need to prove anything. These guys have taken over, been here a month and had 1 transfer window in the middle of a lockdown. They need to be given a chance and there is zero evidence to suggest that they have no money. Incidentally I read somewhere that we actually made the highest bid of the window.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 7:40 pmTo be fair Gand provide proof there is finance then you can come back at people.
