Should we employ a cup manager?
Should we employ an out of work manager to take responsibility for our cup competitions? Because it’s seems our current manager couldn’t give two shits.

Tbh, I wouldn’t object to Steve Stone playing the U23’s.

Re: Should we employ a cup manager
Bring someone like Joey Barton in, someone who will appreciate being in the shop window and let Dyche concentrate on the Premier League and have a week away
I thought if it as a silly idea initially, but the more I think about it, it has more benefits. Mixes it up in training and maybe the players might appreciate a week off from the usual bosses.
All players are given a clean slate for ‘cup week’ playing for a manager with nothing to lose.

I’d take Coyle

Steady on. I loved Owen Coyle but he’s done literally nothing for donkey’s years.
You’d take Woodgate over Coyle going off recent performances.

Would you rather have Dyche managing us in the FA Cup? I’d have Chris Waddle taking the reigns for our Cup games... we might as well...

I’ve mentioned on another thread. He should have the night off and let Ian Woan and Tony Loughlin take charge. We never know one day SD could wake up ill and they need to step in. The experience could stand them in good stead.

Re: Should we employ a cup manager?
The whole management team don’t care. It needs to be a fresh face who can be air-dropped in without any influences by the current management.
The only time when cup manager and his team communicate with Sean Dyche is to do with player availability.

We've had some cracking games in the League cup over the years.. The Capital Punishment period.. But if I'm being Honest I haven't been on an F A Cup game since the No Show at Watford...
