Do we think Brownhill will make it for Saturday? We could do with him back for depth and/or options.

It looked like he got his injury kicking the bottom of a Man Utd player's boot from memory. Funnily enough, I did this whilst playing football about a week before Christmas and my big toe still isn't right now. These types of injuries can sometimes take some time to heal as there's little you can do to accelerate the healing process.

Hammy isn't it so I wouldn't have thought he'd be in contention for this weekend, Roy thinks he'll be out for a few weeks.

If he is out, then we've got absolutely nothing to fear, this was proven at TM when he didn't play, and they created little.

The guy we need to watch with Zaha out is Eze. Hopefully our coaches are aware of him. He has been sensational in some games-good purchase at £17m, in Summer and no doubt now already valued above £25m

Talking about players we were allegedly linked with, how good is Matty Cash? Pace to burn and a good crosser. Others seem to spot english people like him, such as Lampty.

Lamptey was a fantastic catch by Brighton, and they picked him up for a mere £3m, so surely he would have been in our price range, and I can't imagine his wages are that high either, instead we got Dale Stephens, it's nice too see we're planning for the future isn't it.

We need Taylor back asap.

Wood is probably glad of the rest, he sure wasn't pulling any trees up prior to his injury.

I have said before its worth looking at the youngsters that are not getting a game in the BIG 6, potentially for a season long loan. Matty James , Tomori, Mason Mount have all been on loan to Championship clubs and then progressed to the England team,Abrahams was on loan at Villa when they went up.Another example is Jack Harrison of Man City on loan for Leeds. These players are out there, would not involve a huge outlay and would provide youth and pace, and if you dont like them you can send them back. I would have thought in our position we cannot afford to be too fussy,

I could not agree more warksclaret. The big problem would be that Dyche would probably never give them a chance.
