Re: Cpalace versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Excellent performance to put away away a very poor Palace side. Mee's injury has definitely (sadly) taken the gloss of it as if we lose him for the upcoming games, today's brilliant result could easily be negated. Such a shame when the game was effectively over.

Terrific result. And it sounds like Ben Mee's injury is not as bad as was thought at first.

3 goals and 3 points, including a wonder strike by Lowts, and a welcome clean sheet for Nick, touch wood the injuries aren't as bad as feared, 6 more points in these next 2 games, and we can prepare for life in this division next season.

93% of 28 voters so far give Lowts MOM. Don't think I've seen a figure that high before.
Well done Lowts.

11 points clear of Fulham, if we beat them I can’t see them catching us

Fingers crossed Ben will be fine and he was on the ground for so long due to the immediate checks that have to be made for potential head and neck injuries.
However the Palace ground staff have confirmed the sad news that the pitch will be out for at least six weeks.

Thanks for not letting us downwarksclaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 2:36 pmBrownhill being fit is a big plus, and if we are defending a lead a great player to bring on. Plus Brady could come on for JBG. For me the stage is set for Jay today to really kick off his season today
Re: Cpalace versus MIGHTY CLARETS
I thought Lowts did get MoTM on Sky Sports?

All I will say to that is, so many pundits and fans accuse us of long ball football. He is trying to play football on the floor. I am never going to knock him for trying to play it on the floor.

Just on the subject of Efan Ekoku I thought he was excellent today as the summariser on Sky.
He was very knowledgeable about both teams and wasn't continually stating the obvious which a lot of these guys do.
Although I was surprised when he gave Dwight man of the match.

Agreed. He did our Norwich away last season and even though he had previously played for them he was very fair.Targetman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 8:06 pmJust on the subject of Efan Ekoku I thought he was excellent today as the summariser on Sky.

Re: Cpalace versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Such a stalker, as soon as I comment on something here you are, also it's got nothing to do with being a ray of sunshine, I was commenting on our fine line situation and what I said is the truth we are one or two injuries away from being back in a relegation battle because the lack of investment into the first team, you put your head in the sand and pretend it's all okay if you want but I live in the real world and know if we lose one player like Mee for the rest of the season it's going to be a massive struggle sunshine x
Ps, for what it's got to do with you the reason there was no sign of me all afternoon was because I was watching the game and not on here going though other people's post sad boy
Pps, I await your rebuttal, I know you will because you can't help yourself.

Not heard him summarise before, thought he was outstanding.Targetman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 8:06 pmJust on the subject of Efan Ekoku I thought he was excellent today as the summariser on Sky.

Re: Cpalace versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Proud of the boys today. Although Palace not in the greatest of form, ANY win is a great win and the boys were strong all over the pitch. And how about Lowts. What more can be said. I also quite like the yellow shirts.
