Re: Telegraph match report ...
The mrs actually commented on it "Why are Burnley in short sleeves and t'other team all in long sleeved shirts and gloves"
I just stared and kept my answer to myself.

Re: Telegraph match report ...
Just to undermine the consensus:-
Sad to say a some of our players were cheating with the short sleeved shirt routine: there were quite a few wearing cosy long sleeved thermal vests. Maybe not quite as hard as we’d like to think?

Re: Telegraph match report ...
Anyone notice how Sean Dyche responded in pre-match interview when he was asked how Burnley would cope with the "cold weather" that was forecast for Selhurst Park at the weekend? I thought he firstly looked a little puzzled by the question. Then he politely answered that cold weather is experienced in other parts of the country, including Burnley sometimes.Clarets4me wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 10:10 am" Burnley, it was evident from the kick-off meant business. Hi SouthLondon, welcome to the board. Whereabouts in South London are you? I live near where the Thames was frozen over a couple of days back!

Re: Telegraph match report ...
I tuned into radio 5 for the commentary. They started off by saying what the XG was. I thought they were obviously talking expected goals and couldn't understand how the hell they got 8 for Palarse and 0 for Burnley. They then waxed lyrical about how XG was expected gloves and Burnley were obviously made of sterner stuff
