Shhh you can’t say things like that. Bringing up a valid argument to counter a happy clapper.

But your right. Checking the score at 5 o clock you won’t have missed anything anyway. Maybe the club could spice up our highlights a little bit with a 60s Batman theme.. every time we have the ball and kick it the little graphics could pop up with,,, woosh, hoof, punt, bash, biff

Etc etc.
Benny Hill would have been better for yesterday's game

This game, Brighton, Bournemouth and Fulham were woeful and should have all been wins.
You could easily counter that argument by saying the games against Liverpool , Arsenal and Aston Villa should have all been defeats.

Yes, the performances haven’t been good but no football game ( excluding City) is that predictable , otherwise we’d all be getting rich of the bookies etc

And this is generally how it ends for supporters of clubs like ours.

We spent years being just outside the play-offs in the bottom two divisions, dreaming of being an established top flight team again. And now here we are, a week after winning 3-0 away at Crystal Palace on a day when we should have scored more, with folk grumbling that actually they'd rather be back down there.

We will be one day, and people will pine for the days when in barely 12 months we won league games at Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool (aka the defending Champions), were beating the likes of Villa 3-2 and so on and so on. Then with the perspective that comes with distance, they might reflect that they got a bit carried away on the back of one really poor performance on a difficult pitch, in a howling gale against obstinate opponents, with a patched up and unfamiliar team in the midst of as severe an injury crisis as most of us can remember.

Spot on, but I can't agree that the emotional ones will ever accept they got a bit carried away

Thatcher called them Moaning minnies . I know this a forum but please get a grip on yourselves.
I want this premiership journey to continue, it makes business sense as well us football supporting sense. We can see our humble team be greater than the sum of their individual parts. We are Burnley and a super Burnley under the stewardship Of Sean Dyche.
Get a grip it isn’t pretty at times, we have injuries, too many for my liking, but we are playing some of the best teams in the world. I am grateful for being in the premiership, very grateful.
I remember standing on the terrace at Plough Lane thank goodness it was a sunny day, little to cheer, Slough town had a better ground then. 0 - 0.
I remember going to Dartfords ground to see Maidstone play. All pubs boarded up because we had hit town.
1 - 0 ( thanks Rocket Ron).
I remember going to Gillingham 0 - O what a dive.
Barely raised a smile . Winstanley telling me we’ll be right! That was over a quarter of a century ago, he must have known. My favourite player is Ash Barnes, a fighter, even the Austrians have disowned him. For me he represents all that is best about Burnley as well as bespectacled Bill in the Coach and Horses!

Sean Dyche has been the best thing that has happened to Burnley Football Club in 2 generations. He's up there with Harry Potts, Jimmy Adamson and Jimmy Mullen.

To all those who want him out...

GO **** YOURSELVES !

Completely agree.

However that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to question any of his decisions, signings etc. As you say though any Dyche out calls are moronic all things considered

I don’t think any true proper Burnley fan would want dyche to leave as he’s an excellent manager for the club, but some people hold him to a godlike status & it’s actually deemed offensive to even remotely criticise or question anything that he does even if it’s balanced constructive criticism offered to enhance discussion.

I agree which is silly really as even the best managers like mourinho, pep, klopp etc make mistakes but some on here refuse to talk about it when ours does

Can't be arsed scrolling through 9 pages, but just thought I'd add that if anyone is even thinking of getting rid of Dyche then they are extremely stupid.

Right Winger has stated Dyche can go in the summer and take Mee with him.

Well, what if it really is time for a shake up? Nothing lasts forever. Perhaps SD and his team would like a new challenge? Who knows?

I've seen a few Dyche out comments at times mate but that's generally following a defeat or poor performance.

Every club in any country has them fans though. I love the guy but sometimes he gets it terribly wrong and people are right to talk about it.

Jesus shows like 606, talksport etc are based on fans opinions and criticising of managers tactics, team selection etc. When people do it on here though, you get the smart arses making patronising and rude comments to whoever the poster may be

Maybe I just don't pay much attention to them.
I'm always of the view that anything is possible in football, and fans, much as they may like to voice their opinions on social media, rarely affect decisions.

I'm with you Bill but for most, me included, talking about it is all part of the enjoyment and my love for football. If the only time I talked about it was 90 minutes on a Saturday then I'd prefer to do something else

Burnley without Dyche, or a manager in his style who can squeeze every last drop out of our somewhat limited players would mean we go down IMHO.
Look at some of the talent he has brought in as well. OK some not so good but the guy is up there with the best.

Mr Dyche has my backing anyway. And he’s good mates with Kieran Trippier to bring him back soon hopefully. Needs more funds for new talent at the turf which I hope is coming.

Sweet Jesus. Question the tactics, call out the transfer policy but why the hell would you want us to lose?

If we were winning and/or playing effective football no-one would be bothered so why would you want us to lose?
