Positives from today

Post by 4:20 » Sat Feb 20, 2021 5:12 pm

Was one of the worst games I've ever seen us play in but I'm over it now and,

We got a point.

All the luck we have been saving up has been used on this game. No idea how we kept a clean sheet.

3 points taken from 3 "crucial" home games against Brighton, Fulham and a 10 man West Brom.

Very lucky it was just not 2 points.

I had 3 dark fruits, a stella, a Tuborg and a Camden Hells accompanied with a packet of crispy coated chilli peanuts.

Oh and I won 2 coupons, 10/1 and 26/1

I'm going to order a meat platter for 2 ( for myself ) and watch some football now,

Happy Saturday I'd say!

We should have lost 2-0 but got a point. We are still 8 pts clear with another game gone. Barring a disaster we should be in the Premier next season.

Every so often, a game comes along which helps us fans decide which fans we don't want alongside us in the trenches.

Today is one of those opportunities.

- Seemingly no further injuries
- Despite possibly the worst performance under Dyche we didn't lose
- The new owners witnessed just how much work this squad needs
- I didn't break my TV/controller/pint glass..

A positive was they had one sent off and we got a point out of that somehow. If they had 11 men I dread to think how many they would have won by.

It was better than watching us get beaten by 9 men against Rochdale in the fourth division.

We weren’t beat and so West Brom lose the catch up opportunity .
Charlie Taylor gets another game under his belt towards finding his match sharpness
Keeps our unbeaten run under Mike Dean going
A game nearer our best forward getting back on the pitch
Dyche doesn’t spoil his reputation as the luckiest manager in recent PL history

Decent point.
Clean sheet for Nick.
We will be playing in the PL next season whether some folks on here are happy at that prospect or not.
Rovers lost again.
Hopefully now Alan Pace knows what improvements the squad needs.

I watched the match with my Grandson had 2beers my first this year.I told him when they went to 10 men it won't be easy I have seen us lose countless times to 10 men and twice to 9 men.Towards the last 10 mins I expected on onslaught they needed the win and we got away with it.A very good point in my opinion all things considering and whatever happens next week at Spurs I know we will put a far better performance in than today UTC a step nearer to safety
