Only good thoughts going out to Tiger. Cut out of his car after a rollover accident.

Get well soon, Tiger.

In my opinion, the greatest of all time and an absolute inspiration to millions. Yes, he’s had his problems but most geniuses do.

Reports saying he is in a serious condition..What with his on going back problems this could finish his career. He has been an icon of golf for so long and is up there with Nicklaus, Palmer,Sevvy, Watson and other such great icons of golf.
Hope he makes a fast and complete recovery.

I suppose it’s to early to know if he was under the influence of any substances that contributed to this incident.

Press conference in an hour apparently.

Can’t help but think that’s a possibility given past events.

Let's just wait and see what the details are before jumping to conclusions.

As for Tiger hope he makes a full recovery, don't forget he's a father as well as a golfing legend, but you do have to wonder if he'll ever be able to get back to the standards of old, he's not getting any younger, and he's suffered serious injuries in the past.

I drove down that road when in LA a year or two ago, it’s a bit hilly but it’s a residential estate so not really the kind of road to be scorching down. 45 limit I think. A bit hard to see how a single car can overturn in broad daylight while keeping to the speed limit, but we’ll see. For now, hopefully Tiger can recover, but I fear we have seen the last of him on a golf course.

Seems to be quite amusing to some on here.
Sure his family and friends don’t see it that way.
I am sure it will disappoint some of you if he is found “not to blame” for the accident.
You need to have a word with yourselves.

He should have probably already called it a day with the golf. His back is clearly knackered, he's just doing more long term damage the longer he tries to play on.

There’s an argument for that but the Masters come back win was proper Roy of the Rovers stuff tbh...absolutely incredible. Flawed genius. Hope he pulls through and gets healthy again.

The first photo I saw the car was down an embankment below road level. Rolling it down there would be easy. The reason he came off road less so obvious.

If its true that he's had pins and rods inserted into his legs, that's the end of his golfing career.

I've never really been a golf fan, but Tiger Woods was one of those players who you have to appreciate because of how much he changed the game when he burst onto the scene.

To be fair to Tiger, there is an awful lot of potholes on our roads these days,he should go on Facebook before venturing out in his car that's always a good place to find out were the worst potholes are.😊

Been confirmed that their is no evidence to support Woods was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The sheriff has confirmed, with the way the crash has taken place that he may have been driving over the speed limit, but said on the downhill road Woods was driving on this is common, not to say it is right.

A rod has been inserted into his tibia and screws and pins added into his foot and ankles.

Cannot see him recovering from this into a capacity to play professional golf again.

Anish Mahajan, chief medical officer of the Harbor UCLA Medical Centre where Woods is being treated, said the open fractures were comminuted, meaning broken in more than two pieces.
Mahajan added: "Trauma to the muscle and soft tissue of the leg required surgical release of the covering of the muscles to relieve pressure due to swelling."

He will be lucky to be walking again anytime soon never mind playing golf. What a shame for this exceptional sportsman. I wish him all the best in his long recovery.

The Hyundai (Genesis GV80) Tiger was driving was an “event car” and is a totally new model in 2021. Not one he is likely to have driven many times.

No idea how it has rated safety-wise but it certainly doesn’t have a track record yet, it’s the first SUV Genesis have made as the luxury arm of Hyundai. Just goes to show how important these safety features are in all the cars we drive, it’s lucky dip whether we all need them one day.

Woods obviously won’t play again, it’s a great shame, but he has his life, and that Masters win was a magical once in a lifetime moment that we only get to witness once a decade if we are lucky by the genuine greats.
