Wandavision
Thought it was time for a change in subject.
Has anyone been watching Wandavision? I think Marvel have out done themselves, how everything links together is truly outstanding.

Re: Wandavision
How does it compare to Chucklevision?
Re: Wandavision
I watched the first 1 and "Wanda'd" where it was going... keep at it, its a grower mate... all of a sudden it escalates into more of what you'd expect it to beGodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 10:01 amI couldn't get into the first episode really, but I keep telling myself I'll try again.

It is going to be critical to how some of the biggest marvel films over the next year pan out.
Directly links with the new spider man film and Doctor strange 2

Re: Wandavision
My kids are watching it, and saying how good it is.
My eldest has seen every single Marbel produced multiple times, he loves them.
Arguments are occurring if one watches it without the other, ir tells them what happened if they havent caught up yet.
I've never been into Marvel, and I'm yet to watch a single one.
Maybe one day I can watch the job lot in some sort of order and follow the stories.

I am a massive marvel fan Macca. If you get in to them they are fantastic.
From all accounts the next couple of marvel tv series coming out are all going to be very very good.

Re: Wandavision
I’d watched the odd Marvel film over the years but decided to give Wandavision a go purely for the fact that I wasn’t really getting the value out of Disney + as although the kids watched it on occasion they tended to be using iPlayer for CBeebies etc.
My naivety to Marvel probably paid off a little as the plot emerged and characters developed it intrigued me to find out more about how the story linked to other films. This has led me to watching the films in timeline order and really piecing things together.
Currently upto Ant Man and the Wasp so toying with the idea of finishing that off and the watching the remaining two Avenger films before completing Wandavision. However with lasts week’s reveal I doubt I’ll be able to resist.

Re: Wandavision
It is definitely worth watching them all. I don’t think there is a movie universe where everything is so intertwinedburnmark wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 2:09 pmI’d watched the odd Marvel film over the years but decided to give Wandavision a go purely for the fact that I wasn’t really getting the value out of Disney + as although the kids watched it on occasion they tended to be using iPlayer for CBeebies etc.

Thought he was a potential Brazilian centre forward

I don't think Wanda has a "Brasilian" front and centre (but her neighbour probably does )

Re: Wandavision
Bizarre first three episodes but very clever. Surprised they got signed off by Disney, must have put quite a few people off with how it starts. I don't know much about Marvel other than from the kids but this show is pretty good, might watch some more.
Re: Wandavision
I enjoy it, but my god it's weird as hell. Helps when the lead actress is a hotty too.

Re: Wandavision
Really enjoying it. Just watched episode 8.
Quirky first couple of/few episodes, but it was always obvious all would become clear over time with the mini teasers...
The new set of films coming should be enjoyable too.

It’s Disney+ which is a sub similar to Netflix.dougcollins wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 11:36 amHow do you watch this Disney channel, is it yet another subscription?
It’s great if you like marvel etc or have kids.
I think 02 and some other businesses are doing 6 months free subs with plans if you look into that to give it a go.

Re: Wandavision
I've just finished the whole season.
Episode 1 & 2 were a bit meh, but it definitely got better.
Very impressed by it towards the end.
Very well made overall.
