WBA are 14 points below us, them beating Brighton shouldn’t cause us any problems, and it keeps Brighton well in the mix

VAR didn't decide anything, it's the officials that screwed up, not the technicalities.

I think VAR upsets people so much, because it highlights how inept referees are, instead of helping them to reach the right decision.
Last weeks 'penalty' would be written off without VAR, and accepted by most fans, because it was a close call, and you can excuse a mistake. VAR takes that reasonable doubt away, so we get angry because with VAR it should have been given. Only those officiating , especially in the studio, are responsible.

To me VAR is the whole set up... Oliver decided not to review our pen claim, which is the human input, but its all VAR.

People criticise our strikers, but Brighton must have the lowest conversion rate in the league surely, they missed numerous chances against Palace and that's continued today so far.

No but they look good though, and that's what's important in the modern game, who cares about scoring goals when your football is pleasing on the eye.

And to clarify why he awarded an indirect free kick as the commentators had no idea.

You can not kick the ball twice. 1st was the take, back off the post . Next touch was wellbeck. Therefore indirect free kick

West Brom are a seriously dire team. How they are winning this game is beyond comprehension.

Defensively, they are catastrophic and Brighton just walk through them time and time again. Luckily for West Brom though, Brighton cannot finish a thing.

This was good decision by Mason. If you miss a peno, another player has to touch the ball before the penalty taker can touch it again.

Penalty taker can't hit the ball twice, it rebounded back to himself, he should have got out of the way.

The only time the penalty taker can touch it twice is if the keeper makes a save and then it rebounds to him.
