Always done well against us Mourinho, I remember he used to play Fellaini up against our strikers.

We've not been that bad. West Brom was bad. Spurs have just been totally clinical. Managed it brilliantly, letting us commit then picking us off ruthlessly on the break. We can't go down that quickly, game over for us against a good time.

Better off with Brian Laws

Possibly, but I think the real reason so called supporters aren't putting names forward, is because they haven't a bloody clue!
Of course they haven't but equally we could have a manager who was rubbish and needed getting rid of and people still might not have a clue on who to put forward.

If we had a manager who was an absolute shambles would you argue that it would be madness for supporters to want rid unless they could specifically put forward a name to replace them?

Im sure we both agree that getting rid of Dyvhe is crazy but if you're gonna argue with them about it at least make a decent point cos the point you made is so weak it actually strengthens their argument

TF Dyche is off to palace. Looking forward to Luchi Gonzalez bringing in some Central American players. Pace was never to keep Dyche he doesn't produce a marketable product for Central American market.

Too many games where we don't turn up. As fans some get carried away with the odd good performance. We talk about the gulf in spending power between many PL sides , however I honestly could not currently see Sheff Utd, Fulham or WBA playing that bad. Before people say that we have more points than all these let me remind you that every season we have been in the PL, we have gone very long stretches of games where we have not won a game. Three tough fixtures ahead, but based on our last few games, all remaining fixtures will be tough. Time for SD to earn his corn

I thought we looked ok apart from being unable to cope st all with their pace. Not many could have coped today.

Tarkowski fatal and near fatal errors.

Not Dyche's fault. Recruitment has been non existent for 3 (4?) windows now and it's all catching up. A paper thin squad and too many players not really up to it. Our only serious spend being Brownhill and tbh, he works bloody hard, but he isn't PL quality or indeed a winger. We never expected owt today and so we can't be fed up about getting nowt and tbh, we played pretty well going forward and most of the second period seemed to be in their half (weirdly!)
Just a serious question: Why is Dyche hiding what he's saying to Woan behind his hand at 4-0 down? Like Jose is by then remotely interested in our tactics!!!

A great shift from the lads. Well done to them. That sort of performance and result is the trade-off we must make to stay in the league, along with removing ourselves from the cup competitions.

442 next week anyone?

As bad as we were today, that performance won't get us relegated

Performances against Brighton, Fulham and WBA might

And nobody can give Dyche excuses for those games against phenomenal sides

No it doesn’t. As we're in the top league and arguably the most high profile league in the world, any realistic new manager would at least be on the radar of football supporters.

The suggestions so far have either been wind-ups or just utterly desperate.

Funny how it's 'Dyche' when we're bad, and 'Sean' when we're good.

None as fickle as Burnley fans. (Mostly 'So called' Burnley fans.)

We were better on the ball today than we have been for a long time. Off the ball we were abysmal. We played straight in to Spurs hands by playing against them and giving them the chance to open us up.

That aside we definitely need minimum 10 signings in the summer to freshen things up. 3/4 simply won't do.

I'm glad you don't make the big decisions, and if that's the available options then I'll stick with Sean thanks very much.

Wagner-failed at Huddersfield.
Silva-failed at Hull, Watford & Everton, and can't organise a defence for toffee.
Howe-seriously the guy who left us 3rd bottom of the Championship yeh right, and his heart wouldn't be in it, that's why he left last time, or if you're being cynical he walked before he was pushed.

Yes we've been poor for the past couple of games, but kneejerk reactions like ditching the manager are OTT after everything he's achieved for us in the last 8 seasons, or have you conveniently erased all that success from your memory.

When you start quoting Alan Smith it really demonstrates nothing, based on no knowledge and try to present it as fact.

.... a new level of the absurd. What does Alan Smith know about Burnley that he was not presented with in preparation for turning up today?

And even with that post match info and as an Arsenal legend he had us down for an immediate four or five nil defeat early in the game. He’s one of those commentators with bigteamitis for me...shows us no respect when we are playing at all

And even with that post match info and as an Arsenal legend he had us down for an immediate four or five nil defeat early in the game. He’s one of those commentators with bigteamitis for me...shows us no respect when we are playing at all
He was a big numb one as a forward, he’s a big numb one as a commentator. To quote Stan a blind man on a galloping horse could have seen the potential for big score given our start today... a master at the bleeding obvious.
