Should Spurs indeed win tonight, and we beat Arsenal, (yes, it's all ifs) I'd say we were pretty much home and hosed.
We're bound to pick up two or three more points, at the very least.

Wouldn't surprise me if Fulham get something from this. Where would you rather play next years if you were Spurs? Turf Moor, or Craven Cottage?

I think Spuds would like to be playing Barcelona and Bryan Munich .... so the thought of 1 game at Turf Moor won't enter their heads tbhRalphCoatesComb wrote: βThu Mar 04, 2021 4:56 pmWouldn't surprise me if Fulham get something from this. Re: spurs V fulham
Pre the Leicester i game i thought about this. If we had beaten Leicester and Spurs beat Fulham that would have had us 8 clear with 11 left. Add a conservative 2 wins to that out of those 11 for us and we are 14 clear of them. Would they get 5 wins in their remaining 11 games? Doubt it very much.
As it is we could be 12 clear with another 2 wins out of our 11. Would they win 4? Tighter but still difficult for them. When you look at it this way it makes things look a lot safer.

Very strong Spurs team:
Tottenham XI: Lloris, Doherty, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Davies, Ndombele, Hojbjerg, Bale, Alli, Son, Kane
Subs: Hart, Reguilon, Winks, Lamela, Dier, Sissoko, Tanganga, Moura, Vinicius

Re: spurs V fulham
Mourinho doesn't half like tinkering with his defence..especially his full backs. You'd think he would want it settled back there. Is Aurier injured or out of favour...again?
Re: spurs V fulham
Big Fat Sam faces the 1st of 3 games versus his ex-clubs managed in Everton tonight ... Newcastle and Crystal Palace follow over the next 2 matches... come on Everton, Toon and th'Eagles (just a draw v the Toon and Palace prefered though )

Re: spurs V fulham
Spurs seem to be again on the up after a bad patch. Key thing is Kane getting back into stride after his ankles injury, Son remains very energetic and motivated, Bale (and possibly Dele Alli) returning to some decent form.
Their defence isnt as strong as it was a couple of years ago (Lloris defo capable of an error) and Fulham may get chances but its difficult to see Spurs not outscoring them tonight.
I'll go for the same score Leicester got at C Cottage a month or so ago: 0-2.
Fulham then have Liverpool away, Man City home- a very tough 3 match run for them.

No it's not in any shape or form. A Fulham win is not good at all.Sutton-Claret wrote: βThu Mar 04, 2021 5:27 pmA Fulham win should see Newcastle drop into the relegation zone - so its a win/win situation

I can see Fulham getting something from this game, I think as bad as we were against Spurs, Fulham will have studied that game and will set up much better. I'm hoping of course I'm wrong.

Out of all the sides I've been watching since Christmas, Mags have been consistently the least impressive, with maybe Saints close to worst.dougcollins wrote: βThu Mar 04, 2021 5:34 pmOnce the mags hit the bottom three they'll stay there.
Fulham play some decent, clever football. If they start finding the net, Newcastle are in big trouble.

So far so good at the break, although I'd like a 2nd Spurs goal to seal the deal, Fulham showed right on HT that they still possess an attacking threat.
