Our Pitch
Anyone agree our pitch is looking poor. Its usually perfect but the last few games it's look poor given its 3g
Re: Our Pitch

Re: Our Pitch
Just like a cricket match, you prepare your pitch to match your opposition

Re: Our Pitch
It isn't poor, just a bit grassless in areas.
It's still flat as a pancake, gives an even bounce, and doesn't cut up in a tackle.
Captain Black, last season he moans because the grass is too long, this year he moans because the grass is too short.
You can't please some people, especially winless Goober.

Yeah commented on this during the match, haven’t seen it look this poor for a while?

Re: Our Pitch
Why do our fans miss important information?
It was fine against Leicester a few days earlier. Dyche has clearly instructed the ground staff to prepare it that way. Also, they mentioned on TV that we didn’t water it before or during halftime. It’s obvious what we did...

Re: Our Pitch
3g??
Its approaching its shelf life now but it's still playing reasonably well considering. This was its 10th match since the turn of the year and 5 of those were in Feb. Strangely enough there's now 1 home game in the next 8 weeks (10th April v Newcastle) and the groundstaff have already started remedial works on it before it's 'put to bed' for a much welcomed rest.

Re: Our Pitch
It really wasn’t. I commented on the MDT, after a tv close-up, it was thread bare.
Today a lot of ground passes were bobbling all the way. Brilliant by SD, get in their heads.

Re: Our Pitch
It was in good condition against Spurs and they battered us so maybe it was a conscious decision to scruff it up for the Leicester and Arsenal games

Re: Our Pitch
I'll heed the advice of Virat Kohli, and he's correct that you can play on any given surface if you're good enough.
And if the pitch lingered in the minds of the Arsenal players from last season then so be it.
How many more excuses does Arteta need to absolve himself of blame, he's moaned about the pitch the officials, blimey! he'll be complaining next that his superstars had to play on a day ending in y.

Re: Our Pitch
Arsenals problem is buying overpriced primadonnas who play when they are arsed like £72m show pony Pepe and people moan about our odd flop we buy

Re: Our Pitch
Hardly surprising it's not up to it's usual standard. The groundsmen didn't have chance to do their usual summer work on the pitch due to the shortened gap between seasons.
It will be in fantastic condition for 2021/22.
