I think it's to make the experience as normal as possible for the players. I notice ours are still walking out to the same tune.

Re: goal music in an empty stadium
even more ridiculous is when teams line up next to each other before the game; the ref blows the whistle and all the players clap and then wave around the stadium to fans. But there are none!! Seen this in some lower league football on the continent.

I watched Bayern v Dortmund at the weekend and Bayern have the Can Can music as their celebration, very bizarre.

Proving that as much as they know about football they know equally little about musicclaretburns wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 4:39 pmI watched Bayern v Dortmund at the weekend and Bayern have the Can Can music as their celebration, very bizarre.

I now have this vision of Bayern Munich players that I don't want....claretburns wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 4:39 pmI watched Bayern v Dortmund at the weekend and Bayern have the Can Can music as their celebration, very bizarre.

He's got all those old Busby Berkeley films in HD with slow-mo and stop, I bet.
Re: goal music in an empty stadium
Some Italian popular music from the 60s is produced and mixed to sound like it's in a big empty building- space, for the vibe.

Missed an opportunity for a compilation of :
the twenty best moans from the Bob Lord stand,
best ten celebrations and hits from the Longside.
The best how much? Only wanted one... comments to the concessions stands
With bonus half time urinal sounds and limited edition scratch and sniff option...
Just imagine genuine turf crowd playing as you kick a ball around in the back garden with the kids.
