Team vs Everton
So given the injury update we'll probably line-up as.
Pope
Lowton Tarks Mee Pieters
JBG Westwood Brownhill Dwight
Vydra Wood
That's still a decent XI, and we'll also have the likes of Brady & Jay to come off the bench if required. We will miss Cork though, since his return he's been instrumental in our play.

Re: Team vs Everton
No but it once again highlights how thin our options are, and if we stay up this will have to be addressed in the window, we just can't continue to consistently rely on the same 13/14 players to remain fit and in form over the course of a long season, hopefully we'll just get away with it this season, but we're playing a dangerous game if we think we'll get away with it year after year, and sooner or later it will bite us in the bum if we don't significantly strengthen the first XI, and also the squad to provide SD with genuine options from the bench, we can't expect the kids to ride to the rescue as talented as some of them are.

Re: Team vs Everton
Pieters is more than adequate to fill in for Charlie.. it's Cork I think we miss the most.
If we play like we did in the majority of the 2nd half against both Leicester and Arsenal, there's no reason we can't get a good result

Re: Team vs Everton
Team picks itself following this mornings injury updates. Team as per Tiger post barring any late illnesses
Re: Team vs Everton
As said by FCBurnley the team picks itself.
Just hope they're all up for it and we have a good game and result.
A win would put us in the driving seat so to speak.
But a draw still moves us closer to safety depending on how Brighton and Fulham get on
Following that we've got Southampton away followed by Newcastle at home.
Newcastle being the important one although a result at SOutampton wouldn't go amiss.
Basically, do well in our next three games (5 points minimum) and I think we'll be safe.

Re: Team vs Everton
I just have a feeling this game will all but secure our Prem status like when we won at Palace a few seasons ago. Team as Tiger has stated.
Re: Team vs Everton
Looking at the stats only four teams have conceded more goals at home than Everton.
Another 3-0 win?

What exactly is the injury problem with Ashley Barnes?
Is it a long term injury?
