Next season tickets
My son-in-law is thinking of purchasing a season ticket in the family stand for himself and his 10 year old son. Due to Covid (and maybe other factors?) prices have not been announced yet, but can someone give me an indication of this season or last season’s price as an indication? This is a major coup for me as he is a dyed in the wool Baggie.

Re: Next season tickets
I think Jimmy McIlroy stand is the cheapest for season tickets and sure there is a deal on kids 10 or under getting a free ticket as long as purchased with an adults, though if this is wrong I am sure someone will kindly correct me.
I have one in Cricketfield stand and sure the full price was £330 but I pay £27 a month direct debit. Though I would expect ticket prices to increase for next season due to the financial gap we have had from the pandemic and the new owners unlikely to freeze prices due to the loans/debt that needs repaying from the takeover.

Thank you both, that is helpful
Re: Next season tickets
Whilst the price for new season tickets may well increase, the club stated in October that anyone retaining their season ticket through 2020/21 would not have to pay any extra for their 2021/2022 ticket ( unless their category changes).claretburns wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 11:00 amThough I would expect ticket prices to increase for next season due to the financial gap we have had from the pandemic and the new owners unlikely to freeze prices due to the loans/debt that needs repaying from the takeover.

There’s also little chance of getting the free under 10s ticket. When I last enquired there weren’t two seats available next to each other.
Re: Next season tickets
With the number of season ticket holders who either cancelled their ticket or Direct Debit, there is every likelihood that some of them will not renew and that will free up seats in all stands.

On the subject of the family stand, Hart was going to try and restore it to families although I’m not sure he’d have been successful trying to move people out who have had tickets in there for 25 years.

Re: Next season tickets
It took a lot of work & effort for 3 of us to move from the lower to the upper so that my nephew could start coming on in 2019/20
We only managed it be the 3 of us renewing our existing seats, then making sure we were straight down when the “seat swap” period opened.
This allowed us to get 4 together
The daft thing was, we thought we were getting 4 seats from the aisle, but they actually started 1 in so their was a vacant seat on the end, which is now being used by my godson who started coming on with us during that season and got that seat as a season ticket for this season.
