Newcastle are atrocious. Feel sorry for their injuries but not the covid, that’s self-inflicted.

Could do with a couple more Brighton goals to further worsen Newcastle's goal difference.

Not that I think there is any way Newcastle can catch us.

I said a while ago Newcastle were the worst team iv seen this season, wasn't sure how they'd managed to get so many points. Wilson out injured and Fulham picking it up slowly but surely, I'm pretty confident in my pick of Newcastle to drop.

They've had even lower possession than us I think, which takes some doing. So even statistically they've been one of the bottom 3.

They need to go.

Playing like this Newcastle couldn't catch a cold, and Fulham must take heart watching how terrible they are. I know they've got injuries but even so you have to show more heart than what they're displaying.

2 great finishes by Brighton for the goals though.

Boysie. I’m sorry to say but the game is just passing by Hendrick. On this showing he would offer us absolutely nothing.

5 points and worse goal difference to us, adds some comfort.

Diabolical play. Saint Max is the one man team!

Must give Fulham some hope!

Newcastle going down might not actually be such a bad thing for them. If they went down, the guys that couldn't take over because of the PL owners and directors test will be able to take over them as they will no doubt pass the EFL test and probably get them for a knockdown price too.

Yet if Newcastle win at the Turf they would only be two points behind us. I think we will be fine but it’s a long way from done and dusted.

It'd be a crying shame if Toon went down and had to invoke a relegation clause in Jeff's contract.

After all the effort he's put in to getting a big pay rise.

Newcastle were poor before Hendrick came on the field ( not a defence of Hendrick because I’m not a fan ).
This Newcastle team playing like they’ve never met each other before.
I would be surprised if Bruce is not sacked . That would give the team a big boost

Either of those 2 would result in a lot of hilarity.

Newcastle playing the team one place above them, and they've managed 1 shot on target, surely that's can't be acceptable to their fans.

2 wins in 18 PL games now, how long can Bruce hang on?

It’s poor result but that performance absolutely stunk, Toon fans will not be happy.

Burnley, Brighton and Fulham are finding performances now, Newcastle look like they have no hope after tonight

Not many games finished 15 v 15 players on the field this year, too many yellow and red cards determined games but, in general, the refs got it right!?

Sorry this was meant for Rugby Union thread!!

There’s always surprise results as the season draws to an end. Resent performances, results and the run in don’t look good at all. But I wouldn’t write them off just yet. Time and time again shock results happen in the final few weeks.

When did we last lose 3-0 to a relegation rival?, and we don't possess a strike force worth £60m in Almirón & Joelinton.

Also how many of those games did we lose, let alone throw the towel in, Newcastle downed tools tonight, and they've been poor for months now.

Callum Wilson back for next game. Not sure about St Max or Hayden. Think Petula Clark will eventually be right. Doon Toon ! ( apologies to under 40’s )
