Today's footie 20/3

Post by tiger76 » Sat Mar 20, 2021 2:18 pm

Southampton through to the semi-finals after a convincing 3-0 win at Bournemouth, how the heck did we manage to go out to Bournemouth?

Brentford in danger of spilling more points, 1-1 at home to Forest with 5 minutes remaining.

Portsmouth-Ipswich also 1-1 in the battle of the new managers.

With Lafferty & Anderson mentioned, another ex-Claret has netted - David Nugent a pen for Tranmere

Sheff Wed 2 up at Barnsley, a double for Rhodes, that's a coupon buster, and a Super6 buster as well for many no doubt.

Watford 2 up another ex-Claret in Chalobah bagging.

3-1 Stanley might be too late for the play-offs, but it'll give them bragging rights.

Very similar goal to the one he scored at Palace for us to stay up.

Key moment for Barrow with their late winner and Southend conceding at the death. A 3 point gap becomes a 7 point gap

Accrington not out of play offs just yet but need to improve on their recent poor form.

Well done Brian Easton. Thanks for doing your only useful thing in football ever by destroying some of my season ending accas ;). I wouldn’t mind so much if a half decent player had scored in the 89th minute tbh

You owe Brian Easton an apology apparently it wasn't him but Kyle Munro who ruined your acca.

Sorry Brian

That you ever became a footballer...

He was on the pitch so must have been involved...

Well done Kyle, I’ll let you know how much you’ve cost me at the end of the season when the others romp home. Tbh I could see it coming having not covered off St Johnstone recently tbh.

Hmm! I suspect there's only 1 big game everyone in Wales will be glued too tonight, and it isn't the South Wales derby that's for sure.

As it stands Cardiff are delivering a severe dent to Swansea's automatic promotion bid, as well as boosting their own play-off bid.

1-0 City at the death. Gundogan notches again. De Briyne has just sealed it.
