Are you avoiding every company which you think treated employees badly, or just wetherspoons?Jakubclaret wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 10:15 amLook I’m not stopping you from going to Wetherspoons to your hearts content but I won’t be joining you, I believe TM didn’t treat his staff fairly taking into consideration the previous years turnovers when the company was booming, I’m entitled to my opinion just as much as you are entitled to yours, let’s mutually respect that please, I think we should leave things there!

You can't go to a pub alone after Lockdown, so I went to the HS2 dating website girls there, it says knickers off in under two hours, so I bought some tokens.

I don't go in Wetherspoons often either. Yes, everybody is entitled to their opinion.Jakubclaret wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 10:15 amLook I’m not stopping you from going to Wetherspoons to your hearts content but I won’t be joining you, I believe TM didn’t treat his staff fairly taking into consideration the previous years turnovers when the company was booming, I’m entitled to my opinion just as much as you are entitled to yours, let’s mutually respect that please, I think we should leave things there!
I posted to set the record straight because what Tim Martin said was being misrepresented.

We don’t know that for a fact, we’ve got a handful of people saying 1 thing & another saying the complete opposite, I believe initially the intentions were to throw the workers to the wolves & when the obvious uproar surfaced after a colossal backtracking project started to pacify the impact & stop any damage to the business.

Any I’m aware of, I used to go to Wetherspoons so I can in that example, if next or Superdrug treated the employees badly it’d be an empty gesture as I’m not a customer at them stores.

You and others intend to stick up for staff by performing a boycott that will put their job on the line, through lack of trade.

Some say burnley football club weren't the best with some staff, so that should be one empty seat next season.Jakubclaret wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 2:39 pmAny I’m aware of, I used to go to Wetherspoons so I can in that example, if next or Superdrug treated the employees badly it’d be an empty gesture as I’m not a customer at them stores.

The company within itself aren’t short of a few quid, it is possible to pay your staff for doing nothing for a short period of time in extreme circumstances, trust me tim Martin would not be camping out on the streets anyway. Sometimes a little bit of goodwill is under appreciated & undervalued & it can go a long way.

I think that they know their clientèle. They take their plays as recommended in the Donald trump playbook.Bordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 3:48 pmAre Weatherspoons still sticking that anti lockdown propaganda in their windows?
Brexit. Check
Lots of British flags. Check.
Ban foreign stuff. Check.
Treat your staff like crapp. Check
Covid is a myth. Check.
Maybe we can now skip to the end play and see him f off to a retirement trailer park somewhere in Essex in an unnecessarily large climate screwing plane hopefully to be eaten by a pack of hungry alligators .

The biggest mistake Tim made was not letting you have a beer with your brekkie till after 9.30. It was like McDonald’s banning cheeseburgers.
