David Jones back?
Can't see a link on here...has Jones returned as a coach? What level?
Great to see these proper players returning to the club, they know how it all works, what's involved etc.
Exciting times...

Re: David Jones back?
He looked better as a centre half with Doncaster than he did a centre forward for us.....

Re: David Jones back?
Both he and Ross Wallace have been coaching in the academy for some time - it's just that someone got hold of the story early last week

I was aware both Wallace and Jones were back , working on the Academy. They both proved valuable players for us
What I would be interested to know, is if this additional support was identified by the new owners, or have these been vacant positions been there since before the take-over.

What reason is there for it not being made public when they actually started?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 9:41 amBoth he and Ross Wallace have been coaching in the academy for some time - it's just that someone got hold of the story early last week

Re: David Jones back?
Might be due to them being left footed, some folk seem to struggle with the notion that some are right footed and some are left footed.
The same people throw bread for them big metal birds in the sky too.

Oops, sorry, misread the title. Thought someone was resurrecting the dead to reform The Monkees.

Re: David Jones back?
apologies joey, I hadn't seen your earlier post had I done so I would have added another line to say it wasn't aimed at you due to how fragile you are.
The fact remains though people whinge about players who only use their left foot, never do you read about right footed players not using their left, I am sure there is a good reason for this other than feeding metal birds levels of intelligence but it escapes me.
