Absolutely brilliant player at his peak, shame injuries have taken their toll but that goal will always be remembered.

Possibly most iconic Premier league winning goal.

He'll certainly go down as a City legend, and he's probably the last stalwart of the post-Pep era.
And yes that goal will still be remembered in a 100 years time, that was City's 1st league title in decades, and what a dramatic way to clinch it.

Is that the game Joey Barton made a complete dick of himself in?

A few years back I travelled on holiday with Etihad airways. The ‘in-flight’ entertainment was always punctuated with Aguero scoring for city.
You would think they would use the goal that won them the Premier league, but no, he was scoring against us. Repeated showing it over and over again.

This is how it feels to be City,
This is how it feels to be small,
You sign Phil Jones,
We sign Kun Aguero,
Kun Aguero, Kun Aguero...

Joining Barca on a 2yr deal, so we can safely assume Messi will be staying there for the next 2 years.
Also worth noting how Suarez was deemed old and past it by Koeman but Aguero... .

Reports coming out of Spain that Aguero has instructed his agent/lawyers to find a way out of his Barca contract, he wants to leave the club this summer

City fans wanting him back - that would balls it up for Kane

Barca will be a force once again, but right now they face a major rebuild, even with Messi that would have been the case, but without him they look even more average, and seemingly they don't have huge funds to buy the types of players you'd normally imagine they'd be snapping up.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 06, 2021 11:12 pmThis didn't age well

Even Aguero the great player that he has been for City throughout the past decade, is now coming towards the twilight of his career, and his injury woes appear to be worsening by the season, and this was probably the main reason Pep decided to let him go. of course it does help rather when you can just go out and recruit Grealish for a mere £100m, and possibly Kane for £150m+.

They should just go full at with their youth team and give the manager time and patience.tiger76 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 06, 2021 11:27 pmBarca will be a force once again, but right now they face a major rebuild, even with Messi that would have been the case, but without him they look even more average, and seemingly they don't have huge funds to buy the types of players you'd normally imagine they'd be snapping up.

Hmm! I doubt their youth team is up to the standards of Pep's era, but it's one option for them.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 10:20 amThey should just go full at with their youth team and give the manager time and patience.
And Koeman certainly has his work cut out in that job, but that would be true however the manager was.
