Inga and Armstrong also on the same wavelength. To be fair they've looked pretty dangerous in attack and probably deserve it.

Hope that's not a long time out for Eric.
He's become an important player for us.

Re: Saints v Burnley - Match Day Thread
Come on Burnley. Disappointing to concede quickly, did seem Pope could have got a hand to that but was a good move. Wood looks a different player, much sharper.

Started with Lowts losing possession looking to bomb forward rather than defend, but you’d expect Pope to deal with it normally so a bit of a sloppy one. Thankfully we don’t usually fold these days from a blip like that, but will encourage them, we need to be solid for the next ten

It was a snapshot. Don't think you can blame Pope. Lowton on the other hand..elwaclaret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 04, 2021 12:36 pmStarted with Lowts losing possession looking to bomb forward rather than defend, but you’d expect Pope to deal with it normally so a bit of a sloppy one. He's been playing well recently but trying to do his Cafu impression with no cover was a bad move. Lowton not having a good game and back to his old self.

It was close to him. You could tell by his sheepish reaction holding his shoulder that he was disappointed in himself with his effort to keep that out.Dodobdobodobo wrote: ↑Sun Apr 04, 2021 12:35 pmI hope you’re taking the ****. He’d no f...... chance!

They play some effective one touch football in attack. Would like to see us play that way some more.

Well, I said 2-2 before the game started, but I didn't mean by half time.
Got to say, that was a great goal from Ings.

Attack and midfield good, defence ****
Re: Saints v Burnley - Match Day Thread
Mee makes to many mistakes and Ings knows how to draw Mee into making them
Re: Saints v Burnley - Match Day Thread
Unusually poor from Mee. You just knew Ings would score an age before he did.
