Don’t know if mentioned elsewhere, but headline on sky sports Villa announce 99.2 million loss for last season. WOW!

They’ve got some very rich owner(s) so can sustain it.

Does make me wonder how much even the richest of owners will want to keep supporting clubs making such substantial losses. You’d expect they may reign in some of their spending over the next few years...

I'd have been very surprised had they not made big losses to be honest the way they've spent on players in the last two years

Wasn't FFP brought in to try and stop these kind of losses regardless of a rich owner?

I think it's allowed if the money the owners put in is permanent share capital and that is what the article indicates they have done. So very wealthy owners who dont mind chucking in money without any repayment terms can still bankroll a club.
