The winner of the bean count is bodge with the nearest estimate of 128 (so close)
The nearest water estimation was steve1956 who was bob on with 100ml.

Very well Counted, david.
Surely that's earned us the ethereals' intercession!

I really think the person who is spending time counting and draining and organizing the competition should be rewarded at least 5 points because hes obviously sacrificed his chance of picking up points by doing this....I done two counts and sacrificed my chances.thank youRedbeard wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 3:42 pmHere's the leaderboard as requested.

Re: TESCO BROAD BEANS IN WATER 300g
Maybe we should have a tinned food count super league and breakaway from Reds dominance of tinned food counts
It's the only way we will get our own way

Right I’m done with this. Stagnant bean counts are draining our luck. Next week, a jar of pickled pinons!

So an extra 10 points would put where exactly on the leaderboard?Steve1956 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 6:09 pmI really think the person who is spending time counting and draining and organizing the competition should be rewarded at least 5 points because hes obviously sacrificed his chance of picking up points by doing this....I done two counts and sacrificed my chances.thank you

Re: TESCO BROAD BEANS IN WATER 300g
Steve, et al.
I don't like to boast, but your devotion to the cause is as nothing when compared with my own efforts over many years, about which you seem to know nothing. Many older Counters will no doubt recall my Award For Services To World Tinned Food Counting, made back in 2012 or thereabouts, when my selfless efforts over a great many Officiations was recognised and rewarded. Not once did I consider myself deserving of Counting points!
You meanwhile have Officiated twice, but demand points to your name! I suggest rather that a month's ban would be more appropriate.
I do not 'dominate' Counts, but simply add the voice of experience where and when it seems necessary, based upon my many years' detailed study of mainstream Counting procedure.
Gawthorpe, you should know better and I'm shocked at your comment. I do not make up the Ancient Rules, but simply ensure that we stick to them, for the good of us all.
Anyway, I am quite prepared to resign from the Counting Team if so desired by a majority of members. Shall we take a vote? I have been offered the post of Food Count Overseer at Fenerbahce, my old club. Maybe it's time to accept it.

Indeed. Yet you performed the previous Count well, and I was beginning to consider you a bright prospect. Ah well.
