Re: Todays football 18/4

Re: Todays football 18/4
Perhaps if we had taken better care of our own business (failed to win any of the crucial home games against Fulham, Brighton, West Brom and Newcastle) we would not now need to be looking nervously looking over our shoulder.
Only ourselves to blame.

BPF starts again with Pope out, and Cork comes in for Vydra as Burnley go 4-5-1

Re: Todays football 18/4
Don't think Arteta will be bothered about the result, he'll be hoping that they don't have to play us next season.
Re: Todays football 18/4
This will be fun to watch. Chris Wood up top on his own spells a complete borefest.
Re: Todays football 18/4
Arsenal are 11 Ashley Westwoods
Re: Todays football 18/4
Fulham look like hanging on and no Pope or Vydra. Just need to lose at Spot the Ball now to make my day complete.

Nicolas Pepe for £75m is the worst transfer pound for pound in football history.

Now, now, don't exaggerate he only cost £72m, he's still dogger though.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 3:16 pmNicolas Pepe for £75m is the worst transfer pound for pound in football history.

We used to have a budgie called Pepe. It was a better footballer than that lump at Arsenal.
They’ve just equalised.

Goal given. They did their best back at VAR HQ to give the goal away, they try their best for Scottie every week.

Surely if the match was fixed only 2 minutes would have been added instead of 7

I dont think I've ever seen a team as unlucky as Fulham have been this season. They really do deserve to stay up this season but thankfully for us it aint gonna happen

Re: Todays football 18/4
If Stockley Park were in charge of accumulating the injury time, I wouldn’t be surprised at them finishing the game in the 89th minute.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 3:28 pmSurely if the match was fixed only 2 minutes would have been added instead of 7

Re: Todays football 18/4
Imagine if VAR had disallowed that. 8 mins into extra time, that's gotta hurt. Poor old Scottie, probably wished he could be beamed up now

"Fulham boss Scott Parker is arguing with the officials as they walk off. Presumably he feels that late goal was offside."
