If your TV was showing Wol 0 Bur 2 after Westwood's goal, CT, you need a new telly! :D

I’d previously written it as WOL 0 BUR 4 but thought I’d check how they’d displayed it. I switched on the recording with the score at 2-0. Nothing wrong with the telly, just the reporter. 😀

Took the game to them from the off. Never let them settle and once again played some accurate, crisp passing. When Wood is like that he must be very difficult to deal with. Quite a transformation since his return from injury.

Great report. I actually contemplated giving the game a miss after the previous two games. We'd been to get plants and some trellises for the garden in the morning and the wife was itching to get active in the garden.
Thankfully I decided to watch it after lugging the tools into the garden and saying 'Here you go love, have fun!'
Glad I watched it. What a performance. Neighbours could all hear me cheering.

Possibly our best ever performance in The Premier League. Yes we have won at United Chelsea Arsenal Liverpool etc but yesterday was not just a great result it was close to the perfect team performance and of the highest quality

Right from the kick off we were stronger faster and technically better than Wolves. I read that we ran 6 km more than Wolves during the 90 mins. That is over half a kilometer per player ( excluding GK). An amazing stat. And don’t let anybody tell you Wolves were poor. They played as well as they were allowed to which NS confirms in his post match interview.

Finally a few words on Sean Dyche. He made a brave call in dropping JBG to bring in Vydra. He knew it was a must win game and had no hesitation in selecting his best team for the job. CT. When you have a lot of spare time and you will need a lot ! It would be interesting to list our clubs ‘firsts’ under SD. There have been a lot

Don't often get stats like that from a match but when you get 4 away from home, when a player gets a first half hat trick, you have to start searching back.

I was asked last night that if Wood got the 400th Dyche league goal, who got the 100th, 200th and 300th. Sadly I've checked

100: Junior Stanislas v Doncaster (h) 2013/14
200: Scott Arfield v Leeds (h) 2015/16
300: Ben Gibson v Everton (h) 2018/19

2 up in 20 mins at CP, Everton, Saints & Wolves is not bad going. Shame we couldn’t have held it at Saints.

Totally agree with England’s performance, very good from start to finish. Shame VAR didn’t ask him to look at the Traore incident, not that it mattered in the end.

Great report, and a great win for us.
Ref was certainly very good.
This isn't meant to take anything away from us, but Wolves have to have been (on this performance) the laziest team we've played this season.

Sunday was a special day. Had my mum and dad round in the garden for the first time since the first lockdown due to us having to shield. They came over extra early to get back home in time for the match due and I said I’m actually looking forward to the game. The win and the actual performance was special and we topped it off with a great walk along the side of the Irwell Vale railway line. Oh yeah and we were first on MOTD for the right reasons!

Don't know what it is, and I put West Brom in the same category. Probably because they are the sort of clubs we played often in my early years watching Burnley and, despite redevelopment, still have traditional football grounds.

Yes I have a soft spot for Wolves too, think it goes back to watching the Charity Shield at Turf Moor in 1960 when we were champions and they beat Blackburn in the FA Cup Final. Two fine teams littered with internationals.

I watched it on my phone, under the duvet!! Way past my bedtime. Kick off was 9pm for us, I only planned watching the first half. I nodded off and woke up at 2-0, went for a glass of water, came back, 3-0. Should’ve turned off. I get up for work at 4:30am. But I couldn’t to stop watching. Was knackered this morning. But very happy. My headline on Melbourne Clarets was a good one, if I do say so myself :P

A pack of Wolves slain by a Kiwi.

It was lovely and a change of plan from our usual Skype call after we’d seen the weather forecast. The match was the icing on the cake! Loved reading those stats in your report.

thank you, lovely to re-live Sunday again, for me it was early morning, beautiful day outside and we went for brunch shortly after, it really does make any day or a weekend better when they win, but watching all 11 play as a team, with total dominance and four great goals, did make for a very good day indeed.

I did like how our reporter got in 4 Ws in the title to match the last names of our scorers
