What a season we could have had!!
Start, minus Ben Mee=0-1-5...1point from 6 games.
Since, with Ben Mee..=9-8-10..35points from 27 games.
The rock that never breaks. What a leader.

What a bargain

If nothing else Mee, Tripper, Keane and McNeil show the problems we have in English football with youngsters trying to make it at the bigger clubs when they import all the foreign highly paid stars. Does make you wonder, if the two Manchester clubs didn't have such wealthy backers would they have let them go so easily.

Fully agree. Add to that-what if we had invested or loaned a "proper right winger" rather than playing with either Brady or JBG. For me playing either has almost been like playing with 10 men. Fair to say a good right winger could have assisted/scored 4 or more goalshuw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 2:23 pmStart, minus Ben Mee=0-1-5...1point from 6 games.

We could have signed a right winger to play instead of Brady or JBG and he would probbaly have scored / assisted 4 or more ? Have I read that rightwarksclaret wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 2:51 pmFully agree. Add to that-what if we had invested or loaned a "proper right winger" rather than playing with either Brady or JBG. If the points per game when Mee was playing was replicated over the whole season we’d still only have 49 points at the end of the season which would probably put us 11th or 12th. We’re 14th now and can only realistically finish as high as 12th or 13th, so it’s not a massive difference.

any season we stay up is a good season ! As for Mee it's been said before, we simply couldn't wish for a better person to represent our club

Re: What a season we could have had!!
If we could get the right side of our team looking as dangerous as the left, eg sign a proper right winger we would certainly do much better. Doesn't even need to be someone with pace, just someone that can cross well, just like Wade Elliot did, our forwards would prosper on crosses like he used to produce
