Perhaps so but when the ball goes over tarks head it's Lowtons job to get rid, not stand off and leave it to be met by the opposition.

Lowton having one of his all too regular off days. He’d played himself well out of position which didn’t help with that goal.

He’s decent on his day but for me, right back really needs a significant upgrade.

He wasn't, Antonio cleverly dropped back on the far post and then ran past Lowton to score. Lowton didn't see him and didn't attack the cross.

It was very similar to when he failed to defend the cross vs Southampton.

Argh. More naivety from us. We have a bad habit of sitting back and giving creative players lots of time. 3 clarets to get on the cross and all fail. Brownhill half ass blocking the cross.
