Would be a top window if we signed Barkley. Only a striker I would have added to that.

If we sign Barkley, coupled with the other signings this window, we certainly won’t be able to lay any blame at Pace’s door if we don’t perform this season.

BURNLEY OFFERED McKENNIE

Burnley have been offered the chance to sign Juventus midfielder Weston Mckennie.

One source has told Sky Sports News the Clarets are in talks and have made an offer to Juventus to sign the 23-year-old USA international on loan.

I've been very much a critic of the finances involved in the takeover, I'll certainly give ALK credit for the window though, addressed several key areas that needed work and it's also not just about incomings, we've also managed to keep our best players here.

Long term could be a different matter for sure, but yep short term it would be impressive.

the few reports I've read say that Allegri wasn't impressed with him and has decided to move him on. Been linked with Spurs and WHU this window.

Just a potential loan but been no mention of it today - wasn't anything exciting. The other two have fallen by the wayside I think, but at least I had the one ready that we did sign.

Sima to Brighton is a weird one. Ripped up trees last season at Slavia, then faded massively and didn't really show much this season so far.

Now moved for 6.75 (was rumoured to have an asking price of 20m at the peak of Sima fever last season although that wasn't realistic)

Now he's been shipped out to Stoke on loan, the poor sod

With his style of play he might suffer the same fate as Vokes, but i hope not.
