And if Fabrizio Romano has been quoted it is usually correct.

We complain when Boden doesn't bring us any news and still complain when he does although justified in this case

McKENNIE TO BURNLEY UNLIKELY'
Sky Sports News’ Kaveh Solhekol on The Transfer Show:
"Normally, we don’t see Burnley and Juventus doing transfer business between each other and I’ve been told it’s not likely that they will let McKennie go out on loan.
"He’s an American midfielder, he played about 46 times for Juventus last season. Interestingly, they took him on loan from Schalke and had the option to make the move permanent for about €25m and they did that in March.
"So I don’t think after they paid to make his loan permanent a few months ago, they’re going to allow him to go out on loan again.
"But some of the representatives involved in this deal think it could happen. He’s been offered to quite a few Premier League clubs this summer, there was talk of Spurs being interested.
"But to be fair to Burnley, they’ve just signed someone from Lyon in Maxwel Cornet, who has Champions League experience, so why not? If they’ve been offered the chance and they think they can do it, then why not? But I’ve bene told it’s unlikely Juventus would let him go out on loan.
So people in the deal believe there is a chance of it happening.

Nixon knows a hell of a lot because he works with agents, there are other journalists with similar knowledge and they are always worth keeping a track of. Chris will know less and probably his role is more difficult now in terms of getting info from the club but it's a shame that people suggest he knows nothing when he does even though he can't know everything. It's a bit like Grumps winds me up on here when he says I don't know any more than anyone else when I do.

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
Apparently Italy closes at 7pm , so we had better be quick. For me, even if we don't get another in, its been a superb window. Whilst Cornet is the stand out signing, I am really looking forward to seeing Roberts and more of Collins. Welcome everybody, all aboard
Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
The lack of signing a more offensively minded midfielder, is a little disappointing (assuming we don’t make a late signing). It’s an area we’ve needed quality reinforcements for some time.
However, that’s not to dismiss the deals that we have completed. It’s been a huge step in the right direction.
As Pace said the other week, we won’t achieve everything in this window. This though is a great start to putting the building blocks in place.
Others may spend much more than us, but if Dyche continues to get far more from his squad than others seem to do, we’ll do more than OK this season.

If we were to be signing a player from another country whose window closes earlier than ours, it makes no difference. We can sign a player from Italy, for example, until 11 p.m. but an Italian club can only sign a player from England until 7 p.m.

I've no idea to be honest now. I was expecting Christie and Roberts today until the Christie story yesterday. And potentially a young player on loan but that doesn't seem to be happening. The fourth article I had ready was for a player who has gone elsewhere.

Dwight really does need to score more goals than 1 every 14 games if he has ambitions of playing for teams like Everton, Leicester and Leeds

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
Just missing that little bit of creativity in this window - Cornet alone won’t suddenly make us score a lot of goals.
I am pleased with the young RB though - a bit unnerving to hear him say (paraphrasing) that he isn’t very good but runs a lot, yet I find that refreshingly self-deprecating and I suspect we’ll find him to have decent quality after all.
A lot of pressure on Wood still though, and I mean a lot.

He didn’t say he’s not very good, he said he won’t be the best player on the pitch, probably a bit of tongue in cheek involved along with a bit of truth.
