Another season of premier league football so cant complain too much but that was as poor as I can remember us, barring 25 ok minutes in the first half.

Pope 5 - not a lot to do and questionable decisions on a couple of crosses. Distribution not fantastic either.
Lowton 7 - great ball for the first, hos distribution from that position is becoming a real hallmark.
Tarkowski 8* - fantastic challenge in the first half and dominant throughout.
Mee 7 - largely untroubled.
Taylor 5 - lucky with the penalty, a couple of decent blocks. Poor distribution,looking long far too often.
Brownhill 5 - worked hard but sloppy.
Cork 5 - put in a shift but gave us no control in the middle.
Westwood 5 - went too long too often.
McNeil 3 - one to forget tonight.
Wood 7 - great finish for his goal and a menace throughout.
Vydra 7 - a constant threat and good quality for the first.

I dread to think what our pass completion was like this evening and I genuinely cant remember us stringing more than 3 or 4 passes together. Thankfully our forwards showed a couple of moments of quality and our centre halves were solid and we got it over the line.

Jay ran the clock down to perfection, every time he got the ball he held it up or ran a channel.
Brownhill won so many interceptions again.
Dwight repeatedly coughed the ball up to them and added nothing offensively. The 4 was for his defending.

Nobody really shone tonight but we had more than enough to brush them aside. For many reasons this season has been a lot trickier than it ought to have been.

Westwood 8 - box to box energy and involved in both goals

McNeil 6 - some good moments but the left wasn’t our outlet today
Vydra 8 - made the difference, caused chaos and set up two “goals or nearly goals” with touchline dribbles
Wood 8 - too good for them

Rodriguez 6 - made it stick

First half we were very good, second half we sat deep to defend it out and our quality suffered, but it worked.

They simply got steamrollered by us. There are teams Fulham would want to play in their situation. We won’t be one of them. They are naive and aren’t really ready for this level, and we exploited those frailties. Could have had six in the first half - the ball slightly out of play, the Vydra shot over, the guy who nearly put through his own net, the Wood header.

We’re a mid table side the same as Wolves, Palace, Leeds etc. Just things like injuries define who finishes above whom, we were unlucky there, but did what we needed to do. Now fans can return with us still in the PL. Well done

A good win and solid professional performance. Showed exactly why we will be in the prem next year and they won’t.

Weirdly our wide men were completely uninvolved. Normally our biggest threat but today was all about the two central midfielders and two strikers. Westwood absolutely class today. Wood and Vydra are by far our most versatile, dynamic strike pairing. Barnes and jay are good players. But woody and vyds look like scoring every time they link up. Vydra only denied a goal by a red card offence. Excited to see what these two can do in the future. I wouldn’t put it past them getting 25 between them next season if they stay fit and we play moderately well.

Pretty horrible. It means you are very well paid but don't do your job properly less than half the time. Still, not a night to moan..but one to reflect on.

I may have gone slightly high however it was a relatively big game (more so for Fulham) and I thought the lads managed it magnificently. Having thrown leads away recently it was a thoroughly efficient and professional job from them all. The defence were superb as was woody. Well done to them all.
