Clarke Carlisle
Named on the panel for the “fan-led” review.
Labour complaining only 1 fan on the panel.

Re: Clarke Carlisle
What exactly is this about, I don’t recall reading anything.

Re: Clarke Carlisle
I wouldn’t expect the panel to comprise Iam Wellhard(Chelsea) and Billy Bigbollox(Man U) so it doesn’t seem a bad spread of representation to me.

Re: Clarke Carlisle
I would say then, that Labour have a valid point. 'Fan led review', yet only one fan on a ten man panel. How is that 'Fan led?' Will the 'Fan' be the Chairman of the panel? Somehow, I doubt it.minnieclaret wrote: ↑Fri May 21, 2021 11:52 pmNamed on the panel for the “fan-led” review.

Re: Clarke Carlisle
You can't be a football fan if you've ever been professionally employed in the game?
Does this apply to pie sellers? Programmes sellers? What about the golden gamble?
Would Rocky, for example, have failed the criteria and not been classed as a "fan"?

Clarke Carlisle is a very intelligent person astute person and hopefully this responsibility will help him to slay his own personal demons.

Re: Clarke Carlisle
Was only thinking about him the other day. Glad he’s keeping busy.

Thanks. I do recall some of it now but obviously didn’t take enough notice.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat May 22, 2021 3:49 pmReally? Huge news just a few weeks ago following the collapse of the ESL.

The panel, chaired by Tracey Crouch MP, will canvass fans' views on ownership, governance and financial flows within the game.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Sat May 22, 2021 9:47 amI would say then, that Labour have a valid point.
