I've been on the Turf as a mascot, ran on the pitch at York, walked around the pitch at Carlisle but other than that it's a big fat zero for me.
My own fault for turning down Liverpool in 1993 when they wanted me to partner Ian Rush up front. I had a Saturday job.

Deepdale when it was plastic and very, very hard. I can still feel it in my back 30 years later

Played a few times on the plastic pitch at Preston but Cambridge is the only ground where I scored a goal.
I have to admit though I was the only person on the pitch when I scored but it was a good finish.

Not having that, not even VAR can take 51 years to make a decision. Was on the way to Ipswich in Sep 1970.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat May 22, 2021 2:56 pmsorry, VAR have just checked it and it's been ruled out for offside

The son and heir was part of a Premier League Club's Fitness & Conditioning team, and in the 2010-11 season, made a point of slotting one home at every EPL ground, and at Wembley ... usually about 40 minutes before kick-off !

Turf Moor (charity game), Bloomfield Road (schools finals), Fleetwood (schools), and York's Bootham Crescent (media cup) when it was a League ground.

Re: What Premier/Football League Grounds have you played at?
Just a former Cymru Alliance and then League of Wales ground, Belle Vue, home of Rhyl FC.
2 dozen of us used to regularly jump the wall/fence in the summer and have kick abouts in there.
The groundsman eventually gave up chasing us out.
So long as it wasn't more than a couple of times a week and we didn't leave any rubbish there, we got a large chunk of the summer to play there.

Turf Moor (same charity game as Cajun), Coventry City ((Highfield Rd), Fulham, MK Dons, Sunderland ( Stadium of Light), Aston Villa, and Leicester’s training ground with Burnley fans v Leicester fans.

Turf Moor in the late sixties with the Junior Clarets. We weren't allowed to use the proper goals and had to play across the width of the pitch.

Re: What Premier/Football League Grounds have you played at?
Stamford Bridge, 11th May 2010, charity game for Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Parliamentary team v Celebrities and the "pay to play" punters. I was, of course, one of the latter. I was 56, played at centre half, all 5ft 8in of me. Alastair Campbell was left back alongside me. Ben Shephard, was our team captain. The MPs team included Andy Burnham - told me he'd rather play for Everton than be in politics. Mark Bright (Crystal Palace etc), turned out for the MPs. Both teams had (roughly) two teams, so we all played 25 mins of one half and 20 mins of the other. We won 3-1. There were tv cameras at the game - and a very brief report featured me failing to get in a challenge to stop their attacker scoring their only goal. (Well, it was a friendly). It was shown on the BBC 6 o'clock news, as a final clip. We'd been told there would be a longer report on the later news - Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a big national charity. However, this was the Tuesday after the May 2010 general election and Gordon Brown resigned around 8pm that evening.
Chelsea had already won the Premier League before the game - and won the FA cup the following w/end. I was looking forward to seeing the inside of a Premier League club's changing rooms, as well as enjoying a game on their "premier league" standard pitch. It wasn't to be: they put us all in portacabins behind the stands and the pitch had almost as much sand as Blackpool beach.
