It appears CCC are telling people not to bring their own alcoholic drinks- perhaps if their bar prices were more realistic they might have some compliance.
They're having a can bar for people who don't like paying for premium lagers.

Right that solves it then sell cans of John Smiths at £2.50 a time . Premium lagers would not wash my feet in em.

Price is not really a problem with the "Premium Lager drinkers" two pints will not bankrupt anyone but if you like nine or ten then it becomes pricey. :D

Return travel a fiver
Ticket 4 quid
Ten pints of dishwater that you Real ale drinkers love around 40 quid.

Not a bad day out for 50 quid.

Lot more than £50 got the wife's 10 pints to pay for as well.

Brew some bog standard lager at Warrington give it a German name, call it "premium" and watch the young and foolish go into raptures about it.Give me a good old fashioned pint of mixed any day.

You sound like my dad. He used to drink mixed (mild and bitter).
Now he drinks John Smiths while grumbling at Real Ale drinkers.
