"You gotta move "....which was a Mississippi Fred McDowell cover and featured on the Sticky Fingers album. It's particularly poignant in that percussion was a key feature in the Stones arrangement.

Re: Your favourite Rolling Stones track?
Too many. Getting into them about 10 years ago (I was in my late teens) I found them pretty hard to like. I was a big Beatles fans but The Stones albums were hit and miss. Imo the best Stones songs are a tad more to my tasting over The Beatles.
Under My Thumb probably get’s number 1 for me.
If anyone hasn’t seen it Sympathy For The Devil (Me Plus One) is a remarkable film my the great Jean Luc Godard who is a genius himself.
Anyway enjoy,

Re: Your favourite Rolling Stones track?
Incredible band, so many reference points over decades for many of us.,
I was just watching a few Q and A bits and pieces with Charlie Watts a day or so back. Really sad news.
I liked so many, but although the earlier stuff was great, I did enjoy Doom and Gloom, Love is Strong, from the latter period.
All time favourite is Honky Tonk women.

Re: Your favourite Rolling Stones track?
Moonlight mile (which is basically a Jagger/Taylor song although Mick Taylor wasn’t credited with it because Jagger and Richards were too narcissistic)

2000 Light Years from Home isn't a bad effort from their venture into the 60s psychedelic music scene. I like it because it's dark, like someone having a bad trip.

Saw the Czech cover band (Stones approved, they met in the early 90s and got on well) play at a stage overlooking a lake last year, and the solo at the end seemed to go on forever as the sun set over lake Lipno.
It was perfect.
They are playing my 40th in December which im chuffed about.

Today was supposed to be Rolling Stones day for me but I've had no internet access until just now - sorted now thankfully.

Can't disagree with any of those mentioned so I'll just add ' Dandelion' to the list.
