8:15pm. The rest are still at base camp half way up the stairs, taking a break before the rest of the climb.

Given how we treat the cups, lack of signings, start to the season I'd say its about right.

If it was a home tie I doubt we'd get much more than 5000-6000 so not sure why you'd expect many to travel.

I salute all those travelling fans going up to Newcastle on a Weds night in the summer to watch 90 mins of turgid 442 in a competition we've only ever shown contempt for under Dyche.

Amazed anyone has bothered going up for the long trip on a Wednesday night for an uninspiring fixture against boring opposition from the same league in an increasingly unimportant cup. I’ve nothing but respect for those who have made the journey, that’s properly hardcore, but it isn’t remotely embarrassing for those who haven’t.

We tend to struggle with our hoof when there's 3 CB to occupy our shall we say less than mobile front 2.

Brighton and Newcastle have seemed to have our number in recent years with 3 at the back.

There was one full block of Burnley fans tonight, by no means embarrassing, although I couldn’t hear us from the Gallowgate other than maybe twice. Really hard work sitting in the home end tonight…..
