Pope - 6 - not a great deal to do. Not the best distribution
Lawton - 6 - OK
Taylor - 6 - OK
Tarks - 7 - did well
Mee - 7 - did well
Westwood- 7 - again did well
Brownhill - 6 - meh.
JBG - 5 - not good enough. No right foot.
McNeill - 7 - played well. Our only creative spark
Wood - 6 - took his goal well but didn’t trouble there Leeds defenders that much
Barnes - 5 - we need better

Lennon - 6 - defended well

Why Barnes wasn’t brought off after the goal for Jay I’ve no idea. Or even Pieters and bring McNeill inside.

Pope 6 - not a lot to do at all. Swept up well on a couple of occasions.
Lowton 6 - reasonable game with a couple of good tackles.
Tarkowski 7 - dominant
Mee 6 - largely untroubled.
Taylor 6 - played well but that trip was very costly.
Gudmunson 5 - thought he slowed our attacks down a few times and chose the wrong options. Worked hard.
Brownhill 7 - played really well in there and made some vital interceptions, and made a couple of good tackles also.
Westwood 6 - some good delivery from corners, slightly unfortunate with the pass through to Wood which was well defended by Leeds.
McNeil 8* - excellent game, that's the most aggressive and purposeful I've seen him without the ball. Our best player on the day and looked a real threat.
Wood 6 - a handful. Not sure why he didnt lay the ball off to Vydra near the end when he soan and shot....
Barnes 6 - daft tackle in the first half which could have easily been a red. Defended well from the front and kept Leeds centre backs well occupied.

A frustrating one today, we were playing really well upto the goal but then handed the initiative over to Leeds unfortunately. A bit of luck with their goal but we should have been trying to kill the game by getting a second.

Lowton 6 solid - very little going forward

Mee 5 - poor game from him. Was slow to do anything and lost the ball a lot.
Taylor 7 - very good forward and back.
JBG 5 - uninvolved today for some reason.
Westwood 7 - neat and tidy ran the midfield against a good Leeds side.
Brownhill 7 - see Westwood but some good pressing and ball winning as well. I think he could grow into a top class cm.
McNeil 7 - best player on the pitch - injected much needed quality. Did go missing at times.
Wood 7 - notably good hold up play today. Some great touches and passes in and around the box bringing midfielders into play.
Barnes 5 - dives around and doesn’t really do anything. Some good bits of play but I can’t help but think we would have won today if Vydra started.

Westwood 6 - some awful dead balls but worked hard along with
Brownhill 7 - thought he was everywhere
McNeil 8* - stand out player for both teams, shame he has zero technical ability around him to play
Wood 6 - good finish but struggled to get in the game
Barnes 5 - unfortunately if we are to move forward as a team then he simply cannot be starting games

Lennon 6 - did as expected

Disappointing to only get a point in what I thought was a deserved 3 overall. But to deserve the 3 points we have to start scoring more goals and killing teams off. Cornet will hopefully make a difference in this regard and we still need another with some creativity.

Barnes 8 - roughed up big defence and hold up play excellent , one good effort
Wood 7 - on the spot when needed

Lennon 6 - made a nuisance of himself twice, no attacking threat
Vydra 5 - given no opportunity to play as no creativity going forward by his teammates

A draw was a fair result in the end, but disappointed we didn't get all 3.

Waiting your timewith some of the folks on here. Had we seen that out most numbers here would have had an extra 1 or 2.

We played well today and both created chances (we hit the post again (well Bamford did whilst defending) and nullified Leeds as an attacking force. Disappointing we couldn't quite see it out but I think Dyches subs were spot on. Lennon added more spine o the right for a tiring Gudmunsson and right to try and get Vydras pace to affect the game a bit but sadly he was a bit off really.

Anyway it's more points than we had at this point last seaaon and with new player (s?) To come in we should improve further.

Pope 7 - tidy sweeping but otherwise was redundant all game
Lowton 7 - always looking to provide options and defended well
Tarks 8 - solid as a rock
Mee 6 - distribution a bit off today
Taylor 7 - put a real shift in and unfortunate for the equaliser
JBG 6 - good first half - should have done better with his chance - but tired in the 2nd
Brownhill 7 - did very well especially when booked early by Michael Bielsa
Westwood 8 - great display considering he was kicked all over the place as well
McNeill 8 (mom) aggressive, full of running and defensively sound but ran out of steam in the last 5
Wood 8 - tireless and again had to okay with two players on his back for half the game- not that Michael Bielsa noticed any of that
Barnes 7 - worked hard. Much more like his old self.

Lennon 7 - git involved quickly and gave us a bit more steel.

Finally I was bemused by Oliver's performance. He seemed to let anything by Leeds (particulay Phillips) go but had yellow card out quick as a flash for us. Utter gash again from the man in the middle

Pope 7 - think his extended break is still showing slightly, but nothing particular to worry about.
Lowton 7 - good solid defensive performance
Tarkowski 7 - seemed to be enjoying himself today, but not given the easiest ride by a vastly improved Bamford
Mee 7 - looking a little out of sorts, slow at times; I suspect he’s not 100% fit
Taylor 7 - unfortunate with the Leeds goal, but otherwise very solid performance
Gudmundson 6 - looked a player not quite sure what his job was, seems to be scared to be too aggressive in attack
Westwood 7 - another who has yet to play himself into form, but keeps working hard
Brownhill 7 - everywhere again, I just think we lack him further up the field at times.
McNeil 9 - not always a cheerleader for DM but today he was excellent, and kept his concentration.
Wood 7 - Tough against a centre back who was willing to spend the game preventing him being effective. Strikers goal
Barnes 6 - big fan and defender of Barnes, and remain a fan. But having got his way and a more physical game, it’s time to stop the dying swan acting when he decides he wants a foul.

Lennon 6 - chased hard and a cool head in the closing minutes, without ever looking like creating much
Vydra 6 - Comet’s arrival may see a new approach that helps Vydra. Holding the ball up well but we want him chasing through not holding the line.

A good display that had we been on a run we’d have won comfortably, which is no mean feet in itself against a very fit and capable Leeds side. Wins aren’t far away, but disappointing we didn’t keep them on the rack when they were their for the taking.
