The 4 English based Argentina players could be detained for not quarantining like they should have done. Martinez, Romero, Lo Celso and Buendia the players involved.

UTTER CHAOS

Remember, this isn't The Dog and Duck vs The White Horse.

It's Brazil vs Argentina, for goodness sake.

Ha ha..I love that the Brazilians allowed the game to get underway before the officials came onto the pitch to raise the issue of the 4 non-quarantiners.
Shithousery on a level even Ashley Barnes could only dream of.
Don't cry for me Quarantiner ?

Wasn't this precisely the type of situation the PL and EFL warned about prior to this international break, what baffles me is why would they even travel to Brazil if they needed to quarantine on arrival, as surely they wouldn't be available to play in the game anyway in such a scenario.

The whole episode is a sorry shambles as far as I can see, but it should never have been allowed to reach the stage where the match was actually allowed to kick off.

Luckily, none of our Brazilian or Argentinian players were called up.

Nothing official yet, but all the signs are this fixture is going to be abandoned, what the fall out from that will be, we'll only find out in the next few days, but fall out there surely will be after this farce.

Brazil players already playing a training session on the pitch, Brazil keeper just smashed one in to top corner.

And camera footage showed Argentina equipment being loaded onto a truck and Argentina manager done an interview apologising for the incident, seems the game definitely won't be played.

This game is definitely off, Argentina have already set off for the airport, but why it got anywhere near that stage is baffling, everyone knew the protocols surrounding English based players days ago.

So they’re not being made to quarantine?

It doesn't appear so no. Bizarre situation all round if you ask me.

Someone has got to be held accountable for this nonsense, and you do wonder if the PL clubs will put their feet down when the October internationals roll around, I can't imagine the clubs involved are particularly impressed with this s**show tonight can you.

Brazil claiming they told Argentina the players couldn't play. Argentina claiming they were told the players could play. Very messy.
