Re: Spamhaus
I would change pubs, if I was you. Why choose Spamhaus when you can go to the Dog and Duck?

Re: Spamhaus
I prefer the Bier Hause, but I will say I got a slightly ropey pint in there pre the Arsenal game which tbf is very unusual. Might try the Spamhaus on Saturday.
Re: Spamhaus

Re: Spamhaus
I get that on and off, but only when using phone data and not via WiFi. I usually go to phone settings, switch ‘airplane’ mode on and then off, and re-try the post.
Usually works for me.
Re: Spamhaus
it happened twice last night then was OK .... didn`t do anything at all.box_of_frogs wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 11:08 amI get that on and off, but only when using phone data and not via WiFi. I usually go to phone settings, switch ‘airplane’ mode on and then off, and re-try the post.

I know Steve1956 had a problem a while ago on several occasions but hadn`t heard anyone complaining then bam last night affected my phone.
Its OK now so no worries

Hasn't troubled me for quite a while now, thought the powers that be had eradicated it,obviously not...it's a right pain in the arse when it gets hold of your IP Address.

Re: Spamhaus
Always happens to me in Wetherspoon when on their wi-fi - nowhere else.
Re: Spamhaus
Had it on the hotel WiFi when working up in Scotland this week and then again over 4/5g today.
Switching airplane mode on and off worked today but not when on WIFI earlier in the week. It’s a pain in the arse!

Re: Spamhaus
How do you resolve it?
To be honest, it only happens to me if I'm on Wetherspoons' wi-fi. It does happen in every Wetherspoon though.

Re: Spamhaus
There are instructions when you get it on how to remove the ip from their blacklist.dougcollins wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2023 4:28 pmHow do you resolve it?

Re: Spamhaus
Bloody annoying, I get it often, but reading posts below that could be because I generally use (or until recently used) phone rather than broadband for my connection. Getting lock-out at the end of last season cost me a week's entry in the predictor league, those few points would (OK, might) have seen me scrape into the playoffs

Re: Spamhaus
Currently my IP is blacklisted by Spamhaus for this website,I never get it with any other site,I have filled in the form Spamhaus post for you to un blacklist your IP at least 50 times it continues to keep blocking my IP for at least the last 3 years...filling in the un blacklist form dosent work.
I want to post with my own IP but its becoming increasingly difficult as I'm continually banned by Spamhaus

Posting with a VPN again what a ballache this is.
Re: Spamhaus
Blocked on WiFi and mobile today. Really irritating. Just downloaded Proton VPN, free, so I can post. Why only this site?

So frustrating when you post a long rambling post of 10 000 words and the dreaded ..." your ip is blocked" message appears

I have to use a VPN to access the site where it's not all in basic text. Would like to see it fixed if possible. It's probably more Sushihaus than Spamhouse though

Re: Spamhaus
Been Spamhaused for a fortnight now, anyone else suffering from this it's getting impossible to sign on to this site without using a VPN
Re: Spamhaus
Yep, it happens to me very often and I don't understand what it is to be honest. I've sent them a message to try and resolve it but the reply was pure gobbledegook.
I don't think it is, but I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking it's a bit hack-y.

Re: Spamhaus
Think I've mentioned it before, this only happens to me if I use 'spoons WiFi. If I'm in 'spoons and use my data, it doesnt happen.
Re: Spamhaus
It happened to me last summer, out of the blue. I was told to switch off my home wifi, (where I was using my laptop), for 5 mins and then back on. Not had a problem since. It was something to do with the router changing its access to the broadband I believe, perhaps works similarly to the person earlier who could access only via using a VPN.
Re: Spamhaus
I was just going to post this, the router will have fixed ip address but by turning it off for a while when you turn it back on it will be allocated with a different ip so you ahould be ok then.BigF wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 4:18 pmIt happened to me last summer, out of the blue.
